Pentium 4 dual core processor, 1GB RAM; but with an ATI Radeon X200 graphic card... ATI doesn't make a big effort on developing drivers for linux... :(

Te funciona bien el M3 manager sobre ubuntu?, wine no me funciona muy fino, y aun por encima, al desconectar el lector de tarjetas, me cargó la tarjeta de memoria. Perdiendo todas mis partidas guardas, y teniendo que ir a windows a por programas de recuperar memorias y formatear la memoria, porque en linux ni me la montaba xD.
Te funciona bastante rapido el video, en mi caso Record My Desktop me va MUY lento xD

Pues el M3 me funciona bien mas o menos, excepto q en la ventanita donde te informa de q te ha parcheado bien no te hace ni puto caso el boton "aceptar, tienes q pulsar intro xD
a la tarjeta yo siempre le doy a "expulsar" antes, por si las moscas, y nuca me ha pasado nada...
Ah, en este estaba usando el Istanbul para grabar. No me peta el pc pero el video no se ve tan bien... pero weno pa youtube basta xD

Although it was running smoothly, the video recorder is not perfect, that's the reason why you think it's lagging. Recording the screen with a videocamera will be shabby. Don't you think? ;)
PD: consider downloading appropriate input plugins for your totem media player xD
