I love the song and the voice. Up until these past two years I have never had a problem with eating. After my oldest was born 6 years ago I weighed over 200 lbs and didn't start losing it until my youngest was born 2 years ago. My obsession came on accidentally. I started losing the weight and felt great. Now I can't stand to gain an ounce and find myself saying I can lose 10 more. It's scary but up until now I never understood just how much it controls a person's life.

It's true that the comments of friends and the good feelings of losing weight can be quite addictive, but we need to bear in mind that looking too thin is also not attractive. I haven't met a slim woman yet who says she doesn't think about what she eats ALL the time. We need to find that healthy balance for ourselves and our children .... and put our minds to more beautiful uses! Thank you again. Mx

Can I ask - do you see photos of yourself and absolutely hate them (SO depressing) but then, years later you see the same photos and cant see a problem? It's like that for me. I am wasting my life wishing I was something else, then look back and wonder why.

im not anorexic but i do have anorexic tendencies which scare me because i don't want to fall deep into the rabbit hole but sometimes i just go deeper into it and i am afraid one day i won't be able to come out but for know i am making sure i eat at least 1,000 calories a day i don't want to lose my beautiful hair :/ there was a period were i only had 400 a day and it was so weird
Lol! No I am not skinny! But I am not fat either because of the constant monitoring of what I eat which, as you probably know, is pretty intrusive into your life. Every time someone offers you a sweet or a drink you have to weigh up if you can afford the calories rather than just enjoy.
Anyway, I have tried to explain this in the 'info' section on the side. As well as the song lyrics it explains that some of the photographs were taken by Craig - a very talented photographer in Tokyo who gave me permission to use his photos. Some of the photos are me.
The main thing is, I want to get my music heard. I am a singer songwriter - not a professional film maker.
So I use my tiny digital camera to take bits of film and stick it all together with photos (which aren't stolen) to try and illustrate the music - not an easy task! And I don't like the voyeurism of photoshopped false thinspiration pics - do you?
I have also posted a song about bondage although I have never tried it. My work is through music to try to question why people do. This song is about anorexia and although, as I say on the right, I have never suffered from it, I hope that some people might find help from it. MY main hope though - is that, as a music lover - you enjoyed the song - did you?
