@Fabulousjatt: It is impossible once an audiofile is mixed down. Many experts researched for many years to make it possible and they still do, but there are only a couple solutions, that are incredible though, but still cant do jobs like this.

Search for 'Melodyne Direct Note Acces' on Youtube, this is one of the most advanced tools.

That original song where u took the Acapella out, how did u get that original song laid out as a project in logic? Cuz I wanna use certain instruments out of existing beats for example... Dr Dre - Still DRE, I would like to rip just the piano out and reuse it for a new beat. Is that possible? Thanx.

Okay I was able to click on time and pitch machine, and I put the original tempo and the new tempo, but there is no change in the pitch. I tried it again and changed the number on transposition, but I was still unable to get any changes in the pitch. Do you have any suggestions>

yeah, make sure that you chage the tempo of the project BEFORE you process and paste.

@LogicProTutorials or use this equation 4 free ^ ^ [# of beats in sample] / [exact duration of sample] X 60 = [beats per minute]. this equation is good for ppl too cheap to get beat doctor-type plugins...

@LogicProTutorials your material doesnt even need a beat, you can put the bpm counter on say a kick drum and tap along with it, a kind of "tap tempo" if you like
