Gary Levox is one of the most talented singers I have ever heard, but he is only "human."

Some of the comments I read about him over this "one" performance were ridiculous. A tour is strenuous on any musician's voice, and Gary is not the first to have an off-night.

Personally, I am proud of Gary for still performing even though he knew he was't well. That right there shows dedication and heart.

Those of you non-musicians who commented rudely. Give it a rest. You have no room to talk!

I felt soooo bad for Gary the whole time! I would never have the guts to sing in front of that many people with a hoarse voice. I'm glad he didn't give up. This made me love Rascal Flatts even more!

although gary is sick, he didnt wimp out like the other musicians have before and lip sync. my family and i are hard core rascal flatts fans and this performance was kick ass even though gary was ill. and to throw jamie in the mix only made it even more better because he freckin rocks. so keep on rockin jamie and we will always be jaming to you gary, jay, and jo don. waiting for our chance to sing with you.

he was straining hard against being hard. I have total admiration for him not cancelling--even though the strain could truly hurt him. Jamie was a great addition. I just saw this again on CMT, and it reminded me that I wanted to look it up on here. I only wish I could hear it when Gary is in perfect health...it was awesome...but that would have been more than words can say!!

They performed it with Jamie Foxx on Oprah like two weeks ago and it was perfect. Gary sounded awesome. You should try to find it, I don't know if it's been posted on YouTube though.

Rascal flatts is AWESOME!!!! BUT!! Jamie Foxx was outstanding they were great together and I could only REALLY HOPE they sing together, even a CD sounds AWESOME!!!!!! Love em both.

When it comes to the high register in the voice all it takes to cut it out is a small cold or even exhaustion. He looked like he wasn't feeling very well. I'm sure he was either under the weather or his voice was simply tired. He had the same problems with the first performance that night! They have proven to be a great band and are changing the landscape of country music. Dan Huff is basically their fourth band member!!! All in all a great band.
