@joseph12646 Yeah well at least Nastia can actually hit her splits, unlike Shawn. And Nastia can actually dance - unlike Shawn. At least Nastia has a sense of artistry. Shawn's movements are so robotic and her body always seems tense when she tries to dance.

Even though people say she isn't a good dancer etc. you could probably never do the tumbling passes she performs in her floor routines and her legs are ALWAYS together and those landings and her form! Shawn is amazing and so is Nastia, stop comparing them, they are best friends the last thing they want to see is people screaming at eachother saying "she is better". they are both amazing. now stop pointing out their flaws and enjoy these amazing, outstanding and breathtaking routines! :)

I'm not the kind of person to compare two gymnasts with two completely different styles but I have to say, I love Shawn for her ability to combine her amazing capabilities with showing her love for the sport by smiling unlike some of her competing peers. I think some female gymnast made a landing with a lunge look good. Gina Gogean was good at it. Bridget Sloans day 2 routine at Nationals routine looked good when she didnt lunge. Plus, I think you'll see more gymnast routines move to elements like Lauren Mitchell's from this year's world where she leaped and danced out of her skills. AND who could forget Vanessa Atler's HUGE HUGE ring leap after her DLO punch front.
