dull 55rancher.....simply put go in with the bar tipped forward cut 1.2 through then tip the power head to the rear and drive through the log

Less you get the tip into something it shouldn't kick back. But put someone onto that sthil that can run it it would have one. The chain runs around that bar so fast, I don't get why people try sawing with the saw. Just my observation

I don't give a fuck I collect old and new and work on em and have both brands they have their good and bad points both great saws but my older 55 with a 24 bar does fine and the antique saws do great too. But yeah they have lighter and faster saws today then the old ones

the husqvarna guy didnt sharpen his saw right, and he didnt cut with the right technique, would of beaten the stihl....but only with the head start, I would personally still take the stihl
