  • Thanks a million. I've been waiting to hear it in English for so long. I know sometimes cooks like to give tips in their videos and it helps us non speakers to have it in english. Thanks again. Keep up the great work!!!

  • ang saraaaaap

    kuya thanks

good you used english in your video

i shared your site to friends (not filipinos) who liked fil foods and who are interested in making them

that was my worry before....hope you continue doing it....its not for me 'cause i'm pinoy.....its for others mga puti haha

  • Hi! I have to agree. I'm a foodie and I do enjoy the simplicity of your videos. They're direct to the point and easy to understand. More power to you. . .

I recently started cooking/baking again after I bought 25 pounds of flour at Costco. I finished it finally yesterday and cooked over 20 kinds of breads/pies/etc. I need to tell you that my favorite and the easiest is cream puffs - simple and very impressive not to mention delicious. Try it. Good luck!

  • kuya ask ko lang saan ka nakabili nung rice flour???hirap kc makahanap dto sa florida eh.....meron ba walmart or publix???thanks

  • Got mine from a korean store here in Illinois. Definitely wala nyan sa Walmart but I'm not sure about publix. Is there a chinese store near your place? Try to check it there.

  • @panlasangpinoy sana subtitle na lang yung english mo, the way it used to be if im correct. nasanay na kse ako sa tagalog mo eh, mas madali kong maintindihan hehe

  • @panlasangpinoy kuya parequest nmn wla k pa kc eggpie common e2 sa mga bakery

    thanks

  • @rizalane tsek mo sa asan store kahit di pinoy store, meron dun

  • kuya thank you sa palitaw recipe(^3^)~

    gawa ako sa valentines!

    nakakamiss naman yng tagalog mo♥

  • maraming salamat for the english, i am amerikano ha ha ha, but to tell the truth i never had a hard time with your show in tagalog, since you make everything so easy to understand. keep up the good work!

  • kuya wag na po english, tumutulo po dugo ko

  • I think it's better if you speak Tagalog. I personally don't understand Tagalog (yet :p ) but I never had a problem since your recipes on your site are in english. I just use your videos to see how you do it and print out your recipes for when I want to try it. Besides, if your videos are in tagalog here, more people will just go to your site for the english recipes there. ;D You have the best Filipino food vids on youtube that I think you could get away with that. lol

  • it's panlasangpinoy for a reason...filipinos who can't understand tagalog...go grab someone who does!!

    just my 2cents..

  • Thanks for the wonderful insights. I surely need this kind of comments in the site.

I need a hand in getting the conversation active in the blog. How about a little help guys?

    @broodm well said. Thank you.

@philest25 and @laniesilla5 Thanks for your inputs. I really appreciate it.

  • wow sarap ;)

    ok ah,,naka english ka ;)

at nakakagutom ka.. thats my fav..

  • kudos! u did really good! :-)

  • p.s. I miss your Tagalog. :(

  • I love palitaw. We also use ground peanuts on the sesame-sugar mixture that you made. Seriously, good eats!!!

  • ill def. going to try this=)madali lng pla=)thanks thanks po

  • Kuya, how about a compromise? Speak how you normally speak in your videos, and make English subtitles using YouTube's annotation or caption tools for people who need them.

  • It a great job PANLASANGpinoy, that we hear you spoken in english, in some other reason that not only pinoy watching or subscribing your channel, but it also right- that some other opinion...na tagalogin muna lang at sa last part of your videos you can tell them to go to the right side bar for english translation and more recipes....maraming salamat talaga, ang galing mo! CONGRATS, im so impressed

  • THANK YOU! i usually ask my husband to translate after i read your website, thanks again!

  • pra nmn sobrang seryoso. jk . i love ur videos (:

  • Now you have to go back and redo all the past vids in English! lol Just kidding!

  • You don't need to do the videos in English. People can just go to your website because everything is in English there. Please go back to demonstrating the recipes in Filipino. My family speaks Visayan, so I would prefer to listen to you in Tagalog, to keep me familiar with the national language.

Thanks for the recipe too. It was timel!. My family was experimenting with a recipe we found in a book, but it also added wheat flour along with the glutinous. Texture is too firm, so we will try this!

  • i enjoy your videos in Tagalog. i don't speak it, but hearing you in the video helps me learn the laguage as well. m...if people would just go to the website they can read the english. i believe that if you are nice enough to share your knowledge of Filipino cooking with all of us, you should be able to do it in whatever format you want.people need to appreciate the time you take to share this with us and take their time to go to your website and read the english/congrats

    celeste in kansas

  • I feel that you don't necessarily need to do your videos in English. You do such a great job of showing the ingredients, and how to proceed with them, that I'm never left wondering what was the next step.

And, my wife does help translate occasionally!

This is one of our favorite cooking channels on You Tube!

  • Thanks for your feedback guys. I really appreciate all your inputs.

@KCabrera08 good point. I'll make sure to take note of that.

@LeviathAileron thanks for your opinion. Subtitles are not a bad idea though it takes a lot of time to edit each video. I guess I should consider doing the videos in Filipino again, that feels more comfortable too :)

@Deornight point taken. Thanks for the input.

  • okay, i'd be honest.

Its a good thing that you used the english language so that everyone would understand it.

melodyofvision has a point but i feel that its unfair for your other audience.

i watch some of your vid w/ tagalog language and quite gotten used to it. I must say that it feels a lot more authentic (and its so much better that way)

anyway, subbing you vids is a good idea if not, just supply details on "more info". easier to include in ur other vids too

    Just an advice

  • well, to be honest

Hearing you using tagalog language is much better and it feels more authentic.

if subs are too much of a trouble just use the more details part of youtube (also its easier to do that w/ your past videos)

btw you can add time like

    1:09 Step1: (Procedure)

    1:30 Step2 : (Procedure)

  • Go back to Tagalog, just give us subtitles!

    :)

  • thanks for the english

  • LOL, u could always have a caption

  • I think speaking tagalog in the videos gave it dimension and a sense of authenticity. It IS a Filipino food channel and I felt better knowing they could actually speak and give background in tagalog.

If non-tagalog speakers checked the site. They'll find that it's in full english, including the recipes.

  • Hahaha. How funny. I actually watch Filipino vids so I can practice my Tagalog. Now you're takin' that away from me. Siiiigh. Hahahaha. It's all good. It's all about the yummy food. MMMMMMMMMM.

  • Thanks a lot for doing in English. :-)

  • thank you for doing your video in eglish. you could have do it CC too.

  • thanks:o)

  • =) Thank you so much for trying to do your videos in english! I really appreciate your videos and recipes. Thank you for sharing it with us.

  • Thank you
