This game makes me want to read the empire series. As I was a huge Orson Scott Card fan because of the Ender books (both series) and I just never knew what empire was about, but at the end of this game it mentions it's part of the story, it blew my fucking mind.

@weazz Empire is a great read. Looking for Hidden Empire. It's basically a hypothetical second world war between opposite extremes. Objective soldiers try to end the conflict before things go south. It's one of those stories that would make a great movie.

I completed it first off without the helmet, and then with it; I laughed so hard at the purple and white hair, I don't think glitches like that ruin the game at all-if anything they add character to the game, making it more unique

For the record it's just a color layer glitch that I suppose wasn't worked out before release. His hair's just altered because of the Fusion Helmet. If you were to beat the game without it his hair remains the same color.

If you read the end of the credits it said that Shadow Complex was linked into a series of books. The first book is called Empire, then comes Shadow Complex, then there's going to be one other book after that.

It doesn't exist. You start a new game (Main campaign, new game) you keep your level and strengths. If you have all the gold bars you get the golden guns where you find the monitor with Claire being hit(Bitch anyways)

quick clarification at 100% all u get is an achievement but with 100% said that means youve collected all the gold bars which opens a door in the same room that you get the pistol at the benging of the game that has every weapon in the game made of gold for your choosing and unlike everything else when you start a new game it stays open so you can start the game with the gold inertial element if you chose too. and when you start a new game all you keep is your level. hope that hepls

I said SOME of the best games in gaming. Never have I bashed Super Metroid, because that, and the original Metroid are amazing games for their times. Hell, Return of Samus was awesome just for the fact that they put all that content in a single GB cart. And what does it matter if its not a side scroller? It still holds true to original Metroid elements, and THE only difference is that your experiencing the game through first person view.

How could you possibly not like the game for it's music, amazing level design and detail, Chozo Logs, Lore, etc. that explain the story (if you ever cared to read them, which you probably never did), unique ways to exploring the levels (can we say morph ball?), and other things. Looks to me your just bashing the game because it wasn't a side scroller. At least give them credit for the more important things, ONE being that they stuck true to the games original mechanics.

I recognize that the Metroid Prime series is about as close as you can possibly get to the Metroid spirit in a FPS(FPA?), even thought I'm not a giant fan.
