very, very nice piece of music, Dave. Beautifull mood:)) Contains a lot of happiness and light - you two must be very happy together:)

I notice you hold down the bass notes with your left hand. I often start an arppegiator function on the bass synth and add a proper amount of decay to the sound. It makes the sound "hang" when I let go of the keybpard - but also let's me move it around like I want to. The decay length means it will sound like a sustained note rather than an appegiated one:))

@nickybendix Thanx Nicky. My old piano (still my favourite instrument of all, I just like the feel of a real 88 hammer key pianoboard) is a Yamaha Clavinova CLP930. But actually the pianosounds you see me playing are coming through MIDI, from the Yamaha P50m Piano Expander Module (see my previous video). I used a combination of longtail echo and reverbs, coming from the Roland SRV2000, the Roland DEP3 and the Lexicon MPX100 all blended together. Check my gearlist in my YT-profile. Grtz, Dave.

10 years ago, my lady came into my life and we are still happily together as can be.

So how to capture 10 years into a 10 minute track, that was my goal with this composition.

If you look at the last 10 seconds, there's a small 'thank you' included for her.. ;)
