1) Bcoz that's not Kumar Sanu's voice! He mimicked Kishoreji's original version. I thought only Sonu Nigam could do that.

I love Kumar Sanu! Udit is good too, but Kumar's voice is so deep and manly I LOVE IT! I feel that after his departing from singing due to mouth cancer or something, there has not been that mant good romantic songs. I mean there are romantic songs, but I am talking about the ones that are like extremely well done like: Churake Dil Mera, Qayamat songs, Dil Se Dilbar, etc... Just my input. Every singer in bollywood has there place, but Sanuda is forever my favortite!!

2 reasons why Kumar Sanu stood out to Udit on this.
1) Bcoz that's not Kumar Sanu's voice! He mimicked Kishoreji's original version. I thought only Sonu Nigam could do that.
2) Bcoz Kumar Sanu found it more comfortable on stage. Watching live performances you'll realise Uditji struggles a bit on stage. Watch Ae Ajnabi, Unity of Light and you'll get my point.
But obviously Uditji's got more success on recording studio than Kumarji

sanu and udit ji r great singers.but dey hav limitations.compared to al singers(except rafi),sonu nigam is a super singer with versatile,amazing voice.his expression and feell to each word is super.he became a great singer within a short period and still continuing.
