  • kit kats

  • corny!

    and bounty!

  • @qiranger so were all of your students korean? cuse you said you were in korea in this video. Are you teaching english to them, or do you teach korean ? :o

BTW I always wanted to go to a asian country. how is it there? pretty cold?

  • @Rick4ever1234 I teach English in Korea. I love it here and have a great time in class. Not too cold today!!! Nice to have some fun weather!

  • @qiranger I wish I were you. My parents are korean but I never got to go to Korea. Your videos are really great because while not being able to go there I can see Korea through your eyes and that makes me feel better. Please keep making more videos, showing the culture, the places, the foods there and much more! (Of course if you want to and if you have time) :-)

PS: How long do you live in Korea and can you speak korean fluently? Sorry for the many questions.

  • @Rick4ever1234 I'll continue to make videos. More Korean videos next week! I only speak a little Korean :(

  • @qiranger If you don't speak Korean fluently then how do you teach English to Koreans?

  • @Stepdadstan I speak English to them.... Koreans receive a lot of English education in public and private schools. I teach reading comprehension, conversation, science and world history... all in English.

  • @qiranger Ohh, thats really cool! :D I was just assuming you taught English to Koreans beginning to speak English.

  • sounds good, im asain though :3 wusabi is good.

  • Just seeing this for the first time! Thanks for the shout-out. Excellent review of the Wasabi Kit-Kat....I'm also a Snickers fan...

  • With blood sugar issues Chocolate is off the menu these days.

The wife would probably like them, though I don't think you can get them in Thailand either.

  • They seem interesting! I have had a lot of weird kitkats here, but I still haven't tried the wasabi one!

My favorite candy bar is called Wunderbar! They are in Canada ....not sure where else.

  • Very cool. It seems most of our candies are from 롯데.

  • Actually, from what I know, Lotte is a Zainichi Korean company, based here in Japan.

  • oh the classic Whatamacallit and fastbreak!

  • Those are classics!

  • I have a big bag cany already!!! ;-)

  • Your students didnt know what wasabi was?

    my favorite is...nestle's crunch bar!!

  • Wasabi isn't a term that's used all that much here all that often. Plus the kids are only in 2nd grade.

  • Anyone for Freddos?

  • ;-)

  • I like beer, and really don't have a favorite candy bar.

I thought the Koreans hated the Japanese?

  • OK, what's your favorite beer?

Older Koreans still harbor some ill will towards the Japanese. However, most of the dispute today revolves around the term "Sea of Japan" and ownership of Dokdo.

  • Thanks for describing the taste - I was getting more curious thanks to you and Eric.

    3 Muskateers, FTW!

    ;-)

  • Do you like them frozen?

  • Oooh, they're good that way too!

I haven't even thought to freeze one in a long while. Thanks for the reminder!

    :-)

  • I would have to go with you on "Snickers". "Three Musketeers" is a close second but that is more nostalgia. "Pay Days" are good both candy bars and money. lol.

  • Very cool. What about Baby Ruth or Mounds/Almond Joy?

Sometimes you feel like a nut... sometimes you don't!

  • Dark chocolate, either plain or with different things in them (like orange, raspberry, roasted sesamy, passion fruit, cinnamon +++). As for brands I prefer Freia or Black & Greens. =D

  • That sounds wonderful!

  • 즐거운 하루 되세요*^^*

  • 감사합니다!

  • I have alot of favorites but, right now, my favorite-favorite are frozen Reeses Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups...mmm...

  • mmmmmmmm in deed.

  • Homemade Rocky Road.

  • AWESOME! I love Rocky Road.

  • Send me an adders, and I will see if the Boss will make you some.

  • I thought I saw them in Lotte Dept store food basement, maybe it was the green tea.

    Choco pie FTW!

  • When I take Jo to LD, I'll check it out!

  • I don't even know if they make it anymore, but I always liked Tangy Taffy :D

    Peace.

  • mmmmm I think I've had something like that before!

  • Snickers are to complicated! I love reese's.

  • LOL

  • Don't really like sweets... but loved "chocopie" while I was in the military service in Korea.. :D

  • I know what you mean. Those are great.

  • My favorite is Daim (or Dajm in some countries).

    Yummi!!!

  • Very cool!

  • mine varies from snickers, twix, and mr. goodbar. I could always rely on some good dark chocolate from either Lindt or Godiva

  • mmmmmm

  • I am addicted to ANYTHING Dark Chocolate. I can't remember who makes it because I haven't found it in my small home town, but one of the European makers has a 100% Dark Chocolate bar. It is so nicely bitter and so good for you all at the same time. One square a day, to fight off cancer ect..

  • ;-) My grandmother loved dark chocolate!

  • I love wasabi so i'm gonna have to try to find some of those.

My favorite is probley a cookie from canadain company called dare the style i like is the maple leaf it's like a bit o honey in cookie form and you will eat a hole box so fast that you don't know what happened.

  • HAHAHAHAHA - Sounds like a great experience. I have to admit to doing that with bite-sized Hershey's candies.

  • Damn, Wasabi Kitkats, I love Kitkats and I love Wasabi. Sounds really awesome. My favorite candy bar would have to be Drei Musketieres; ahh- Three Musketeers in Englisch.

  • I used to love eating those frozen.

  • no way i could ever eat that. i am so sensitive to spicy foods. :D

  • Ouch. I love spicy foods. One of the reasons I love being here in Korea so much!

  • Interesting concept!

  • I thought so. I just had to try it!

  • kit kats rock. one of my favorites. i also enjoy the mars brand rock.

  • ;-)

  • interesting as usual green wasabi kit kat.......my personal favorite....marizpan chocolates!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • I might have to get some more!

  • My favorite chocolate bar is Double Decker. - But I haven't had one in months. - I hope no one buys we one though; once I start I can't stop!!

Ps; I'm sorry if you hear this a lot, but you look like Patrick Stuart a LOT. - I hope you're complimented, not offended. - Take care my friend!

    - Giles.

  • Thanks for the complement... mmm that bar sounds delicious!

  • Swedish Fish

  • Interesting.

  • Looks interesting. I would love to try those, always love trying new stuff!

  • Awesome.

  • Is it real wasabi? Because i put wasabi on a egg roll in a japanese restaurant here and it blew the top of my head off lol.

  • I'm sure the amount of wasabi in there is very, very small. As I said, you only got a slight hint of the taste.

  • Good morning to you to Steve.....What the...!

Wasabi Kit Kats! I have never heard of them or seen them. Interesting. My fav candy is the Carmello Koala and turkish delight when I'm in the mood for it. :)

  • I love those. Although my favorite treat these days is 빼빼로!

  • Interesting! My favourite candies are 1. Maynard's Wine Gums, 2. Riesens, and 3. Jolly Ranchers.

  • I used to keep a big bowl of Jolly Ranchers in my office.

  • Green kitkat bars. Pretty interesting! I'll have to go back and find the other videos you did on this.

  • I didn't do any, but some of the J-Vloggers did quite a few of them. They were a real treat.

  • I' am not surprise about that. Japanese makes unique stuff but expensive ones.

  • True. I am really thankful that Eric took the time to send this out!
