I think the reason he can hold back tears is because he sings it everynight pretty much..You can tell on the studio version that he almost breaks down..the same on the song "are you there"..I'm usually more into Alt rock/Grunge whatever you wanna call it..more heavier stuff..but this band is simply amazing, and I can relate to the lyrics a hell of alot. Greatness

wow. i've watched series of live videos of anathema and it has ruined my faith in vince's voice. His singing is horrible, way out of tune and i don't know what kind of effects they've used to correct his voice on albums, but i'm really disappointed. Rest of the band plays ok.

i just wonder why they don't takie something like Antares auto-tune or other voice correcting tools with them. It's not anything uncommon, and it's widely used in recording as a VST-plugins or as a hardware.
