If you would sell them for 117$ and manage to sell 40 of them, then you would make enough to "pay off" the CNC work + mold and make extra 480$

1500 - Original Rifle

700 - Mold

2000 - Material

480 - 12$/h x 40 hours

4680$ - 40 Rifles for 117$ each

And with the 41st Rifle you would make 62$ with each unit sold.

Man I'd be sellin these things left and right for about 65 to about 70 bucks each finished and after about a couple months of selling I'd be making a profit. ( cus first u have to buy the 1500.00 dollar replaca, then make the mold ) but after that u got a little hobby with a good profit.

I think that a person could probably cut a lot of the inital setup costs out of the equation by using something other than a machine to create the initial assault rifle. For example, you could build it out of several pieces of carefully cut wood. The initial rifle would be heavy (and I speak from experience) but it does not need to be light if it is only used to make the mold.
