I saw something like this over bessacarr/rossington last year, no way was it a lantern, ive seen hundreds of them as im sure you all have lately, the thing i saw was at least 100 times bigger, and it looked like smaller lights were coming from the bottom of it, after about 30 seconds it had completely dissappeared

I am from Doncaster, I saw sommet like this about 6 years ago, there were 5 in the sky and they all seemed to stay in one spot for about 5 minutes and then all eventually dissapear :/

These are those chinese lanterns, they've been going wild with them in Doncaster for some reason! As for an formations such as a triangle... Just by chance! Nothing more to it!

@DiddyDn3 Sorry but your wrong! I too have seen these glowing orange balls of light and know for a fact they are not lanterns. Lanterns do not stop and form a triangle, which I witnessed with 2 other people. try again mate ! Got to see them for yourself to believe it!

i saw 5 in line from doncaster about 6 months ago ,they really fast high up in the sky it took about 10 seconds for them to clear the sky definatley not a plane there was also an airliner pretty close too so a good visual reference to the speed they were doing , dont you think its rather ironic that all these little orange chinese lanterns show up lately aswell........ cover ups

I'd just like to add that during a power cut last night I saw 4 of these Orange lights in close proximity over Cantley in Doncaster at 8pm. They disappeared one by one until a single light appeared from the other side of the sky moving at extreme velocity to meet the others. Anyone else see this?

We are seeing them regularly in Pennsylvania, USA and other states too. Even in freezing weather. Even in remote areas. No one does Chinese Lanterns around here. I have lots of videos of them in HD. This is real and happening all over the world. Thanks for posting more evidence of them.

i have seen the same on three occasions here where i live and beliveve me it's semi rural and nobody flies lanterns from empty dark farming land..tonight i saw one rush up overhead at great speed then just hang there then dissapear..no sound no pulsating glow just wierd!!

@TheAmaziee - I doubt these being those Chinese lanterns that people talk about. First off, how do they manage to defy speed and make irratic and unexplained movement? My daughter said these glowing objects were quite big to say they were so high up, she dsecribed them as round balls of fire. Lanterns would just show up as specks in the distance, and wouldn't glow orange, but more white?

1st sighting was on 24th dec 09 with 3 of these lights in the sky that hovered in the same place for about 10 mins then went straight up.... and we had 2 of thies light come over BATH yesterday round 1am... they started out the back of my house come round the front and then wondered off... My daughter's seen these glowing lights twice now in under a week. We live about 4 miles North of Doncaster. She came in last week after walking her friend home saying that she'd seen a glowing ball in the sky, tried to video it on her phone but sadly ended up with just a blurry pic. When I asked her about it, she said it circled a few times, then just shot off into nowhere. She came in a few nights ago, said she'd seen the same again. There's definitely something out there. The next night (the tenth) just outside Malvern I saw a massive group of lights in the sky that were pendulating and circling each other tightly, they stayed just above the clouds. We were traveling along the motorway at about 50 (speed restrictions) and they were in view for about fifteen minutes.

I saw exactly the same thing, literaly just obove my house in South London. To be honest i frozzzzeee..I ddnt know what the hell its was, it wurn't making any sound as you said, it just flew past very quietly ! Ive made so many judgements but I still cant figure out what it was ! It was much more closer than what you've recorded, and it was also extremely bright ! Oh and btw, it wasn't the last time..
