I just recently got into the death Wish series myself early this year, definitely a worthy discovery. I don't have a problem with catchphrases or remarks that good guys make before popping the villains, as Dirty Harry uses them...but I do really thoroughly like Bronson's quiet-don't-say-much-just-get-­to-the-point-and-pull-the-trig­ger disposition, he's excellent without catchphrases.
