Mario Party 5 was very memorable to me because I recall playing the shit out of Mario Party 4 and not expecting a newer installment. Then during one Christmas My dad took me to Gamestop when I was visiting him in Miami and I looked at the shelf and saw Mario Party 5 , I defecated my pants. I insta bought it and looked at the game manual and when I saw they added 3 new characters (Boo being my favorite Mario character) I was like...oh my god.

Mario Party 5 was pretty good in my opinion. The only thing I didn't like was the story mode. They should have kept it the way it was like in Mario Parties 3 & 4.

Mario Party 8 is probably my least favorite because they got pretty lazy with the mini-games. Some of the mini-games that are in 4-player mode are also in duel mode. And the items on that game are ridiculously expensive.

Party 7 was not bad but isn't really one of the finest games in the Mario Party series because of Bowser Time but did like the 8 player feature. Party 5 is probably my least favorite because of the many capsules

I think MP 4, 2 and 1 are awesome, 3 and 6 are just fine, MPDS and MPA are a different kind of MP´s that is ok, and i still haven´t played the rest of MP´s. But MP 8 seems to be really fun. About 5 and 7, a lot of people don´t like 7, and 5 is rare to listen about. SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH! I´m brazilian!

In Bowser Bash 'n Cash, I just let the opponents get a free hit on me, then play it well to minimize losses.

As for Mario Party 5, it's my favorite of the GCN ones. It can't hold a candle to any of the N64 ones though. I haven't played 7 yet because I was so disappointed with 6 that I just never even bothered.

At the comment made around 1:04, if you let yourself get hit at the last second, you'll only lose 5 to 10 coins (depending on when you let yourself get hit). That's how you "beat" Bowser's Bash n' Cash. ^_^

MP5 is one of my least favorites of the series. The boards are mostly eventless until you start placing capsules around, you can get caught in your own traps, rivals can benefit from your prize spaces, and I find very few of the mini-games to be fun.

Hey! Even I'm not enough of a loser to be infatuated by a video game character. Anyway, I agree with you in saying that Mario Party 1-4 are the best of the series. I found Mario Party 8 to be pretty boring when playing alone but one of the best when playing with friends, so it has kind of mixed feelings from me. My list of the best Mario Parties (excluding portables) would probably be as follows: 1. MP2 2. MP1 3. MP3 4. MP4 5. MP6 6. MP8 7. MP5 8. MP7 I can't wait until you do Mario Party 7!
