Now in 2010 the drop rate is 20%, I was so happy when I got it I still thought it was 1%, I see like 1 in every 12 ppl have it, judging by how many ppl play wow, I'm not special anymore :(

I got this mount my first run of the first day it was available in 2008...I was so happy to ride that thing around due to how rare it was at the time, now everyone has it and I'm not special anymore lol...;(

i got a few questions about The Headless Horseman boss if thts okay. well here they r:

(Q) is he easy to solo as a lvl 80 hunter?

(Q) how much health does he have? (estimate is okay)

(Q) how many time can u kill him in a day?

i'm gonna try this year to get tht mount & the brewfest ones too =] i already have one dungeon mount (Rivendares Reins).

I was very lucky to get the mount on my very last Horseman run of the year.

Though sadly I quit the game shortly after the 2nd expansion, mount has gone to waste, would give it away if I could :(

Based on how each day you get 5 tries, assuming you're not being a dick and lying to get in additional groups after blowing your summons. Event lasts about 2 weeks, so 14 x 5 = 70%

Divide that by 5 since you will be rolling against 4 other people typically, 14% chance to get the mount each year. Pretty fair number, definately not unreasonable to aim for this mount, but low enough chances so that if you do win the mount, it's going to be very special as not many others have it.

And now you are forgetting that the mount it self has 0.4% drop chance.... nice math try tho

The mount was like a 1% droprate per kill.

Assuming the mount still drops next Hallow's End and with the same droprate, you have a roughly 70% chance of seeing the mount drop for each end game character you have.

The helmet drops more frequently during the event but the mount has a pretty low dropchance.

Yep it can fly 280% increase to movement speed and 100% increase to movement speed on land.
