  • Your instructional videos are fantastic! Thanks!

  • FKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK, i hate the "CC" transcribe, it's just a shit man, i can't read anything, add to that if you wanna translate to Spanish,

  • is that phonix rc simulater is it a good sim

  • @ScOpEx80 I think he's using rate mode not heading hold on the gyro. If you notice he is not touching the rudder much at all during the turn. In rate mode the wind automatically makes the tail point in the right direction. Doing those circles like that in heading hold takes a lot more practice since you always have to keep adding rudder to make sure the tail is always behind you.

  • Hi - do you recommend doing all learing in idle up?

  • backwards and inverted flight is almost impossible for me

  • @360kal How is it now? ( 5 months later)

  • @stoichiometric very frustrating i can now do forward flight, loops, rolls, hold an inverted hover but still can not fly backwards or inverted. but its all because i do not practice that much

  • @360kal right on dude! Yo you have pheonix right?

  • @stoichiometric i have aerofly pro deluxe

  • where can you download models for FMS

  • Nice Moves, zfloop, just getting to practice these now,

  • Chad, I really like your lessons. I have much to learn. I have been flying for about 3 months with tail-in and side-in hovering and very basic FFF. Can you tell me how you can control the forward speed so well with the heli? Every time I try, the heli goes scooting off full speed forward. Do I need to add positive elevator or less collective, or both? Thanks for your help.

    Doug

  • @kickbackkid1

Basically once you get into FFF you keep the heli in the turn with the elevator and adjust the height using the aileron and speed with collective. It ends up being a balancing act between all of those controls that keep the heli at a constant speed and height. With practice it will come to you. First you will be able to groove it into a turn and hold it and then you will be able to adjust it. It takes some time to learn.

Good luck! I'm glad you liked the video.

  • @zfloop

Thanks, I will give it a try and keep practicing.

  • Thank you ZFloop, you are an inspiration, one day I hope to be as good as you.

  • @mYfLASK

Thanks! I'm glad you like the videos.

  • Thanks for the lessons -- really enjoyable. In this clip you talk about a guide. Is there a written lesson or practice plan somewhere?

  • @DarthTedd

The guide is a list of what to do for the flight school with a description of what to practice in text. Visit my site chadrg.com and you will see it under heli flight school

  • @zfloop Awesome -- thanks. I'll check out the site.

  • @DarthTedd

You can view the complete guide at chadrg.com

  • I enjoy your videos but could you be more descriptive about what you're actually doing to make these moves.? I know you have stick view enabled but it isn't easy looking at the sticks and seeing what the heli is doing at the same time! And quite often stick inputs are so subtle flying helis that it can be difficult to make out on the stick cam. It would be nice if you could describe what you're doing with the sticks as you fly. Sorry, I don't mean to sound too critical! Keep up the good work.
