ive seen stock lnf's (turbo 4 from hhr) with a canned tune wit around 285 whp around 305-310 crank hp and with a real tune ive seen 310 whp 330 crank hp and had 391wheel ft Ibs just on a tune. no matter what teenage fanboys think evo and stis are so untouchable.tunedsstc runs with isf's from a roll not turd evos
How in the hell do u make 290 wheel horsepower on an hhr with just a tune? are those motors turned down THAT much stock? and the evo is awd. AWD sucks for rolls... That's crazy. The only thing is u can make an evo an 11 second car chillin.. an hhr idk... but not 11 lol. Impressive though nontheless
@ShawnSubaru Its the GM Performace upgrage. It costs around $500 and another $200 to install. Gives huge power gains over stock. However, I think the 290 and 330 figure is mesured from the crank, not WHP.
@ShawnSubaru The stock rating for the HHR SS is 260hp and 260lb ft at the crank. Its a gain on 30 HP and a wopping 70 lb ft. It raises boost from stock 20PSI to 25psi. Money well spent.
I think it's funny that basically the HHR walked all over the Evo and the Evo is supposed to be the staplepoint of all 4 bangin' grocery getters. But also, the difference between the HHR and the Evo is basically the fact that the HHR is only putting power through two wheels, whereas the Evo is putting it through all four which means there's actually a lot LESS wheel HP than the advertised ''300'', the HHR dynos typically at 230-240whp which is closed to advertised power
What ever dude, the HHR is my car. and the EVO was on stock tune, and my HHR was 100% stock except for a mild tune with HP-Tuners. and the HHR only weighs 3300 pounds
that is bullshit i know that hhr isnt stock or the evo is on its last days lol one of my buddys has the homo hot rod and the other has a cobalt the cobalt has the stage one 1 kit the 2 sensors and ecu flash its fun but it still isnt an evo.
@isthebeeflol, The evo was bone stock at the time and the only thing done to the HHR was a mild tune and with that tune he made 290 whp and 330 ftlbs.

ha ha ha why is everyone supposing that evo would beat the hhr the hhr ss has a bulletproff motor the things should not be underestimated

The HHR SS Has a lot of boost and at the right RPM you can launch it pretty quick while rollin.

Ilovegirlfights2 2 years ago
Yes, the EVO was stock and my HHR is stock, but Tuned with HP-Tuners, (mild tune) no dyno or anything

lool looked like the HHR missed a gear last race
07blkCobalt 2 years ago
@07blkCobalt Yes sir, I did miss second gear on the last run, It locks me out of 2nd gear most of the time while trying to no-lift shift

wow it left the evo

Seriously? Vs an Evo IX MR and the Evo lost?! What a shame.
