I have to admit that the only reason I watched this video is mainly to watch Ovechkin (I wish he was shirtless). Then I got that song stuck in my head. It's cheesy, but compared to the stuff being churned out in popular radio...it's really a matter of the pot calling the kettle black, if you think about it.

Also, it does come down to cultural differences. If you haven't really been exposed to European pop (or even Asian pop) it will look like a WTF? cringe inducing experiment.
