@gurglelord get the strange sack and get the one book so you can use 2 items to make a food item and than go to Keelhaul Key and grab as many coconuts as you can and store them, than go to the forest place (its name escapes me) and get as many eggs as you can, than take all your coconuts to the food lady, mix them with fireflowers to make coconut bombs, than take all your eggs and mix them with fire flowers to make egg bombs than when your finished mix those items to make the TNT it does 5 damag

@wboone3 well heres exactly what i did during that fight... first i used my strongest special attack, than the bombs. I think her helath was half way down at that point (plus everytime I leveled up in the game I ONLY raised my health so i had like 200 HP)

@DarkShadowman67 One thing to be aware of is that you will get a slot roll near the start of the fight; this will ALWAYS be a shine sprite, which means full star power. Kick off the fight with a Supernova immediately, and possibly another one after you're topped off. I LOVE to finish this fight with a Supernova for added epicness. Go all out with your most powerful attacks; Spring Jump is a winner.

@DarkShadowman67 There really are no tips just go all out on her.Use all your items because you won't need them after(obviously)and after the cut scene with the Crystal Stars a little bit after you'll always get a bingo with the shine sprites(they recover everything)so before that I would use Supernova or Art attack and use the power lift as well.That will help a lot. And have both Vivian and Bobbery upgraded twice and use them.Also one of her attacks she powers up USE VIVIAN TO HIDE!! 12 damage

Why does everyone say the Shadow Queen is so hard? I was at lv. 26 or so when I got to her the first time with 70 hp and 40 fp and all but Goombella and Koops leveled up fully and I beat her on the first try. It's not that difficult. You just have to utilize your Star Power well and use Power Lift periodoically and you'll win easy. Having some Jelly Ultras (Ultra Shroom + Jammin' Jelly) and Whacka Bumps helps as well. I recommend using Vivian or Bobbery.

I playing this on my Wii, with the GC disc. The problem is I can't save, no mem. card. I've gotten to the train level (MInimum 18 hours played, in the span of ~2-3 days ) with the Wii always on. 4 times. First time, I had to move locations. Second time I read the fucking ghost diary. Forgot it gave you an instant game over (I raged) and third time I had to move locations again. Now, i'm at the same spot and i'm hell bent on finishing this fucking game. I'm going to get like max level before her.

Sigh. While gaining levels, I got wreckless with the plants in far away land. The bomb snow place, and got frozen way too fucking long then died (They do so much damage). I got frozen 3 fucking times in a row. Usually takes me 2 turns to kill them, as they give a lot of exp but I got frozen on their first attack (Foe struck first) and I had Yoshi out, for travel, and had to change him but he got frozen for a turn and Koops wasn't enough with his full ground damage. I finished it on 6
