Excuse me but I don't exactly see the problem here. If people want to start rebuilding their life, let them and if the military is a way to do this fine. In war time the military is always less picky about who they take and that includes WWII. Many felons return to crime, because they have no other options. The problem is soldiers who keep being criminals and gang members while still in the military. As said earlier with the way the economy is I'm sure most felons aren't being taken.

Eh I think they should give a lot of guys the option of enlisting instead of going to jail for minor offenses. They already have boot camp programs in some jails and they work fairly well. Well Im not bashing anyone here who has posted, so here is the deal. Im in yr 2 of a 3yr recruiting assignment that started in 2007 (when this clip was posted). Currently no felons are accepted at all. in 2007 we were able to take a person with 1 felony and with 2 misd with that. Now recruiters dont make the rules and do not decide if that person can join infact we hate dealing with it. The app is interview by several commisioned officers b4 the commanding gen of recruiting decides. its a bitch
