  • seriously, i think it´s even better than the original!! sufjan is the best

  • so, who else here enjoys drinking Activia, drinkable probiotic yogourt? cause i sure do, and hey, its great for your digestive tract i hear!!!!!

  • this definetly looks like its in the french quarter in New Orleans even a street sign in the begininng of the video says french quarter on the top of it.

  • That moment at 2:58...'when innocence dies...' is well done...very sad, but well done.

  • one of the best Dylan covers ever!!!

  • People fail to recognize that covers aren't meant to be better than the original composition, but only as an interpretation and for fun. Sufjan didn't say he was trying to sing it better than Dylan.

  • I don't understand why people think this is a bad cover. Is a cover not just taking a piece of art that you obviously enjoy and have respect for and adding to it; making it applicable and relevant to someone else. Sufjan has taken a beautiful song and offered it to the new generation in a new perspective and genre.

How amazing. It's not like he NEEDS new material to add to his failing career. Its completely about the art. Its just different from Dylan's.

    Why don't people understand that?

  • 1st song i have herd from this band today never felt so happy

  • @MrAdamginger it'ss Sufjan Stevens is not a band but a person, and it's "heard" not "herd"

  • @quagmisterx haha im sorry

  • @MrAdamginger ehh, you arent all wrong, he usually has people perform with him at concerts, if i'm not wrong theyre called the Illinoisemakers.

  • Sick video guys. Love all the wonderful people you shot in it plus the boarding.

  • Well, the man can interpret well the words of the ol' "voice of a generation". Rock on, Sufjan.

  • So, so lovely!!

  • SS is such a genius - big band for the X generation ;)

awesome arrangement and love the vox.

  • @JediSithAnimation obviously

  • Classic rock suits you like a long lost glove, Mr. Stevens. Phenomenal personal re-creation of an already flawless song.

  • Fantastic job on the video~!

  • yes! charleston! i've seen the violinist at 2:26

  • I absolutely love this video! WELL DONE!

  • Indeed he is.

  • @JediSithAnimation Yep. He doesn't like to "parade" it around though, but privately he seems to be very devout.

  • Not my style of music, so I can't really enjoy it like I do the original. I just don't feel the passion like I do with dylans. Not putting this down, the man is clearly a great singer. Glad to see people still covering Dylan songs!

  • @DylanTownesDrake this is a clueless rendition of the song (like most covers of ring them bells, not singling out sufjan stevens)

  • @drongovids oh incredible bob dylan master, I implore you, pour out your wisdom about why most covers are not good enough!

    jackass.

  • @tylerbrainerd they all sound like christian nursery rhymes.

  • is this footage shot with the hollywood dof adapter that you can find cheap on ebay?

  • it is!

  • oh, it's comin. goin filmin tonight with an hvx at this mall that you can skate in here. just gettin some last tricks for a montage. you'll be glad you waited.

  • very good! waiting for you to drop some more skate footy!
