Wanna Improve the pedals of the cheaper gt force ?

Just use a big sponge and cut it at right size to fit behind the pedals

how bigger the sponge how bigger the force on the brake padel !

You shift gears with your left hand in almost all RHD cars (bar the GT40 I believe, which had the gear stick to the right of the driver by the door). I happen to live in a country wich drives on the left, hence my setup.

i used that stand but i found its hard to use because the steel in the center prevents (not prevent but blocking or whatever) makes hard to brake O.O

@NFSlegends You need to move the pedals to the right a bit. If you do that you shouldn't have too much of aa problem using the accelerator/brake with your right foot and the clutch with your left.

Just out of curiosity, how long have you had it, and how has it treated you so far? Any major issues? I'm asking because I'm looking at buying one - GT4 is great, but it just isn't the same without a properly mounted wheel :)

I've had it since June 2008, so about a year and a half. Unfortunately, it died (the power light wouldn't come on and it didn't calibrate when plugged in). Fortunately, it died 2 weeks BEFORE my warranty expired! It was fixed for free, but it took 9 bloody weeks (and I had to pick it up abnd drop it off at the shop myself). The steering wheel unit itself was new (had the new leather smell) but the peddles etc were my old ones.

So overall I wouldn't recomment logitech's post-sale service but I would definatly recommend the product.

I just realised you might be talking about the stand (you weren't very clear). In that case, I've had it since July 2009 and have been extremely pleased with the product and the company's customer service. I e-mailed them whilst the product was in shipping saying it had almost been 2 weeks and I hadn't recieved the thing, and they were more than happy to send me a new one if it didn't arrive!

okay :) my apologies - i should have specified, but i was ALSO looking at a g25, so great - i killed two birds with one stone! the stand looks to be great quality, and very ergonomic as well. does the h-gate shifter on the g25 work as well as it appears to?

Its much easier (in my opinion) to use the shifter than the paddle shift thingys (I just cannot get to grips with those things). However, the H shifter is probably the worst piece of the g25 set. Don't get me wrong, its pretty decent, but it just doesn't have a 'meaty' feel to it like real cars. I guess it feels a bit too light and toy-ish. It certainly doesn't ruin the driving experience, but it is the weakest link in the chain.

There's a big difference. You can't really adjust a table to your height, while the WSP can be adjusted how you want it. It's also a bit more portable than a table!

:D Yes I would recommend a WSP. Although its a tad pricey at USD190 (although that included shipping out to asia, where I currently live) it really transforms the driving experience. The stand is adjustable and I don't think there would be any problem being 5', just spend some time adjusting it so its comfortable. You can adjust the tilt of the wheel, the height of the wheel, the angle of the beam holding the wheel and the distance that the peddles are at.

I can't really test it as my cables are stretched across the main beam right now, but I reckon it would extend to around 1.3-1.4m

I guess you could ask a local games store whether they have a supplier of a wheel stand that they can place an order with. I would doubt many shops would have stands on the shelf, especially if you live outside the USA or Western Europe.
