  • Cant find this kinda stuff in the store.

Actually you might be able to, but they're shittier and you should feel bad for not buying this one here in the video.

  • i gotta get this song what is this?

  • where can i get a knife like that or will a xacto knife do it

  • It's a great look, but is there nothing more cookie-cutter* like, that would save time?!?

    *biscuits, over there.....

  • wow really incredible technique! so much patience too! Simply Wonderful! :)

  • that is SEXYYYY

  • very nice!!!

  • wow u have so much pactience its amazing! good Job , Stacy

  • Bloody awesome!

  • What do you use as your piercing tool? Everything I've tried so far tugs and pulls the clay out of shape.

    Thanks for your excellent videos!

  • @merrycarter

I use and exacto knife (and a snap-blade razor for long straight cuts), no tugging or warped pots. it's also best to wait till the clay is at a firm leather hardness

  • how did u do the 2 bands?

  • @qwerty123456789089 Hi,I just did it on the wheel when it was turning with some oxide slip on a brush.

    Cheers,Dan.

  • at what stage did you do this?

    Was it still very soft?

Did you let it dry for a day and then go back?

  • Excelente trabajo

    Gracias

  • Again, So awesome, Thx Dan

  • amazingly beautiful

  • Dan where do you get your music? I really enjoy the soundtracks to your video's.

  • So cool !

  • Love watching you do this!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Dan, I can't see in the video clearly, do you mark first the cut-outs with pencil? I could never do such a precise job without some guides.

  • Hi,no markings apart from a slight scratched ring you can see half way between the 2 bands of colour, to make sure the 1st row are the same height. Then I just keep going round and when they almost meet at the other side just adjust the size a little if needed to make them fit.

    Cheers,Dan.

  • @youdanxxx wow, that's awesome. Your very skilled. I've learned a lot from watching just a few of your videos. Keep up the good work!

  • Dan, I have trouble with things like this cracking during drying. Do you cover these for a long time, or perhaps I am making the "struts" too narrow/thin? Ed

  • These can crack as the top dries out far quicker than the rest so I just cover in polythene and let it dry out slowly somewhere cool.

That seems to do the trick.

    Cheers,Dan

  • Very elegant. Thanks for posting. I clicked on your banners...he least I could do....cheers
