tekken doesn't even COME CLOSE to street fighter when it comes to amount of games released as far as i know! the only difference is that tekken doesn't try to sell you 5 different versions of every major release, or a whole bunch of spinoffs or whatever. they are both tactical fighters, tekken is easier to pick up and win against the cpu without making you feel nooby for spamming senpaky and haduken

If youre familiar with both games, you'd know the difference; Street Fighter fights on ONE plane, and defense and offense system differs from Tekken. Tekken has a 360 plane allowing characters to shift side to side while fighting, useful for dodging blast and gives a boxing-type dimension. Also, Tekken's button correspond with their ligaments.

tekken x streetfighter is a TBA game that is a tekken fighting-engine based game. so to break it down to you: imagine playing as sf characters in tekken.  and for SF x Tekken which will be released sooner is a SF fighting-engine based game, so imagine play as tekken characters in sf. which can be viewed on youtube by searching sf x tekken. BUT tekken x sf will be announced in the far future. THEY ARE DIFFERENT
