If you are a true musician then you would see this guitar as an opportunity to experiment with music and have a little bit of fun. Who are you to judge who's talented or not anyways? First off, innovation is all about experimentation. Some experiments work, and people like them. Think about the computer you typed your comment on - that thing has gone through HUNDREDS of prototype phases.

Obviously, some people like this new technology - otherwise, it wouldn't be sold.

This guitar interfaces with programs like cubase, and its a MIDI controller, so you could pretty much play virtually every instrument, thus that isn't the only tone that you can use.

Some people do actually prefer a lack of strings. Think of it, with strings you have the dilemma of tuning, intonation, truss adjustment, string age, etc. This just gets rid of those problems, albiet with another bag of problems.

DeathMiracle, bear in mind that it's nothing more than a MIDI controller, meaning that you could use it with any MIDI controllable device. The Misa Guitar is not the thing generating the sound, whatever the player has it hooked up to is. At least, that's my guess, and the most logical conclusion.

Also, there's no reason why you wouldn't need experience with the left hand to create compositions that sound good.
