What is very suspicious is the size of those comets. They have to be the size of earth in order to make that kind of image we see.. The sun is 1.3 million earths bigger, those comets looked to me pretty big to show up as equvalent size to earth.

@amtek666 The tails are not Ice. Ice would turn into Liquid, Liquid to Gas(water vapor or any thing else), and Gas into Plasma.

Plasma is the 4th state of matter(very energetic atoms). So i guess you are kinda right, it is not a ice tail.

Those 'comets' should've been the size of Earth or even bigger for you to observe if you scale the image. A comet by no means would have caused the sun to flare, actually it 'll be vaporized long before touching it's surface. That's grossly fake =)) .To explain: If you put an object the size of the Earth next to the Sun in this image, then it would apear no bigger than a pixel.
