Anyone that argues that BMW is better than Audi or Audi is better than BMW or my car is better than yours, obviously has a SMALL DICK. Grow up people. Audi, BMW, Merc, Nissan, etc. all make great cars and I'm so sick of all these losers arguing over youtube videos. I have an S5 and my friend has an M5. They are both wonderful cars and fun to drive. I love all great cars (regardless of country of origin) and so would any true car fan.

Actually, the S5's performance to the 335 is extremely comparable. (IE. S5 has faster 0-60 and both have similar laptimes on the Nurburgring).

@likkieraw the RS5 will not be sold in the USA unfortunately. i'm a huge audi fan, but audi still has a long way to go before it tops bmw and benz in america, due to consumer ignorance. audi just needs to market themselves better - like having more commercials on tv. they need to attract people into their showrooms before they step into a bmw or benz.

First, Audi s5 should be compared to BMW M3 because it has a 4.2 litre V8. So it's closer to M3. But as audi knows that M3 will humiliate its pathetic S5 so they put it against 335i.

Second, if audi is better then why is BMW the premium market leader today? Because it's the best.

It has more racing success innovation and years of experience than BMW wishes for on road and off road. The Audi S5 is a cracking looking car. Stylish and understated it carries a big enough stick to provide oodles of fun for most but a real barn-stormer of car with plenty of power would even in these constrained times be a winner. The Audi A5/S5 is a better looking car than anything BMW makes and with the RS5 Audi will make some serious dents in the M3 market (to add to those already made by the RS4) and will probably make many question whether an M6 is a good buy when they could have the RS5.

First, the design is a matter of taste. If you think so then I'll tell you that I wouldn't change the 5 Series design for anything that Audi makes.

Second, BMW isn't rubbish like audi. Do you know that A4 costs much less than the 3 Series. If you are interested I'll tell you that a4 costs about the same as BMW's entry-level 1 Series. But even in this case BMW 3 Series is the clear market leader in terms of sales.

Altogether, audi's policy is based on making huge discounts but even that won't help them. BMW retains the best luxury automobile manufacturer crown.

I usually look at German sites when interested in figures, 5.1 Coupe, 5.4 i believe is for S5 Sportback and 5.6 for Cabriolet, RS5 4.5 maybe less. Either way i really would not care the car is an absolute stunner.

The S5 comes standard with a mix of a sunroof and a moonroof. I'm not exactly sure what Audi has decided to call it but it only tilts, it doesn't have the full sliding reward function. God it's a beautiful car!!
