I guess it depends on where in America you may be. I, like most Americans, live in a major city. I have a mortgage and car loan and those payments are still lower then I pay for all the taxes I have to pay. In particular my property taxes are through the roof as in most major US cities. The average annual salary of a primary care physician can expect is 100k. That is good money already. The average specialist can triple that easily. So if you're a medical grad in the US looking to pay off your debt,.... you would choose a specialty over primary care any day.

The ones that would quit are the rich specialists.

He is truly a hero. I hope he runs for president in 2012 or 2016. Obama was never anywhere near this legitimate, and people heralded him as a populist. I think Grayson has the guts to win.
