  • Ya know I think you have Boss and Digitech worried lol

  • Comment removed

  • Didnt realize only 100 were being made. Consider myself lucky!

  • I cant wait for you to demo your new Triple WRECK

    gosh its got me jonesn

  • Does it has the vintage and modern higain switch?

  • damn if i saw this video before i wouldnt bought the pinnacle 2 :]....this triple Rec was just what i was looking for...

but im happy with the pinnacle ..:D

  • I gladly own one! Gorgeous "amp-like" tones using 2 pickups together (able to mix the blend with Les Paul kneck/bridge pickup controls). When using individual pickups you're able to get a large amount of high gain which most may be looking for. The Treble control is a winner. Unity level won't be a problem to exceed at lower gain settings. Nothing like a Metal Zone but very natural. I suspect that Wampler's "*tortion" pedals have signature reminders of each other in their GRINDTORTION.

  • Tried this with a Fender Twin. Sounds better than my buds Mesa with a 2/12.

    Great pedal Brian.

    Can I clone it! LOL

I read all your books so I know how!

Your secrets are safe my friend.

    Good job!!!!!!

  • Hey brian, what were the settings on this pedal on the first 15 seconds of the video? Please tell!

  • Just bought one Brian. Start making mine first!!!!!

    Only 50 being made?

  • That sounds pretty accurate! I wonder how this pedal sounds on a 4x12?

  • I WANT IT!

  • Okay I don't like the fact that it sounds better than my Dual Rec... Gotta get one...

  • I love it! When can I get one?

  • A diamond plate case would be sweet casing for a recto pedal! Not my kind of sound completely! Chug but different only for drop d and drop c in my desired sound. Otherwise clean and overdrive not pure chugrific distortion! -PK

  • Brian knows the Toadies.

  • Not a big fan of Mesa Rectifiers, I'll stick with my old Wampler ver.1 Plexidrive into my Marshall.

  • recently found out about these Wampler pedal series. You have quite pleasing selections and this will definitely be added to players' rig.

It would be very helpful to those Straters/Single Coliers if you can demo your products with a strat. and, I was thinking that a metallic silver case would be well suited for the Rectoers.

  • Single Coilers

  • I can definitely hear this pedal's potential to achieve that dead on rectifier sound.. It definitely sounds like it has that sharp booming bass which is key

  • It's a prototype??

  • Love the sound of this pedal! Gonna get one! One suggestion though, make the tops of the knobs white with a black line so you can reference them. With the pedal on the floor, you won't be able to see how the knobs are situated. Just a thought...........

  • I'd love to hear you do some palm muted chords man, then we'd really hear how it fares against true Mesas!

  • haha yah I was just thinking the same thing. Let's hear some shreddin' on this bad boy

  • Hey, sounds awesome, man! I'm an engineer and I'm really interested in what method you used. You said it has lots of op-amps, no JFETs, I'm guessing active EQing between stages. What are you using for the actual clipping/distortion? (I understand if you don't wanna share secrets :)

    Great work!

  • Thanks Valdiorn, clipping is a mixture of soft clipping, hard clipping, and opamp clipping with both inverted and non-inverting opamps.

  • @wampcat heehheehe :-D

  • Dang that sounds just like $2,500 Mesa Boogie rig.

  • I say lets hear it through a 4x12 and someone ripping some Slayer. Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Then I (and others) will know if its got triple rec blood for sure. The guitar playing needs to be heavier for me to give up my limited funds. But, I THINK ITS GOT IT... just need to hear more. Don't you have a metal head 16 year old working for you? Put him at the controls! Love you, mean it.(Brian, Cathy, hey, my cat is still fat, hint hint ) SVS

  • Sounds a lot like my 5150, though maybe slightly more compressed.

  • not bad, wonder want it will cost... i had the pinnacle and sent it back, to noisey and not enough gain for a high gain pedal, sorry... this may fill that void, although i just pick up a used Guyatone Metal Monster, it's atube driven/ss type pedal, if you want in your face high gain with sweepable mids you gotta check this pedal out, my search for killer high gain has finally been laid to rest... saved a lotta bucks too!!! boo-tick is over priced...

  • I got the metal monster too but this one seems to sound more like a triple rectifier then does the guyatone

  • I just ordered a Superplextortion and now you come up with this killer pedal. I looks like I'm going to be the 1st kid on my block to get a Wampler pedal. All my of my friends are very interested to hear it.

  • Man, I think you'll be happy with the Super P.! It's easy to find a pedal with alot of distortion. But harder to find a pedal with good distortion.

  • I have to echo swashtnyt: my face began to melt during the video. Nice work! Now where's the penny jar hiding....

  • I'd say it's a real face melter, Brian.

I bet it sounds even better loud and in person!

  • How about letting us hear what some of these distortion pedals can do with a Strat. While your pedals do sound great they seem to mostly be demo'd with some type of humbucker guitar. What about us single coil guys?

  • Dude! Even through the nasty YT audio compression, this pedal ripped my face off! Just crazy good!

  • Actually sounds better than a Rectifier

  • Dr. Boogie?

  • no - no jfets in this. Lotsa opamps though.

  • Hey man! When is the Bogner Shiva pedal going to be ready!>

  • Great stuff, Brian! No harshness whatsoever! I really dig how it sounds with the lower gain setting.

  • Hopefully you'll keep all 3 EQ's (Low, Mid, High) on the production version.

  • Agreed! ...even if it means using a slightly larger enclusure than the usual "MXR" type.

    Sounds like a great pedal Brian - Cheers . . . Ian

  • Wow, incredible from a pedal.

  • dude man !!!!!!!!!!)))))

  • Great sounding pedal! When will this be out? Full of punch sound!

  • Fantastic! Can't wait to add this to my rig

  • I am all over this pedal! i cant wait to get mine. I've been searching for something like this for so long for added versatility to my rig. this will be a blessing

  • Wampler my man, when you gonna send some pedals out to Analog War Cry for review and demo? We're dying to checkout some gear.

  • Awesome tone! See u at the show!!!!!

  • dayum.

  • Another great pedal from Wampler! Big win
