Does this work for any Sony Handycam or a specific model?

And when the bluetooth mic is on, does it only record the bluetooth mic, or both the camera mic and bluetooth?

I think it works on a few different models. Compatibility details should be on the Sony website.

You can use the bluetooth mic separately, or flick a switch to have both working at the same time

was that only using the ECM-HW1 Wireless Microphone or was tat at 5.1 settings. I am considering purchasing it have you had any problems at all.

That was on 5.1 settings.

The mic s great. The only problem I've had is with the rustling sound when it's really windy or if the mic is rubbing on something.
