  • @Nightcat99 Thanks for checking back! :) hugs!

  • AHAHAH wtf? randomest shit ever

i cant stop replaying the slapping part! xD

  • LOL! This guy has talent.

  • HAHAHA i was thinking of doing a vid like this after i saw Brookers one :)

  • That was years ago, huh?

  • Je veux un enfant de toi

  • Yeah, but tre awesome

  • senor-hahahahahahaha thats spanish

  • i went 2 France for two weeks. We payed 200 euros for a meal nobody got filled up from.

we tried to get into the Louvre but it was closed. WE tried to see some castles but we lost direction and nobody in that country knows a word English!

We tried to go to a shop and get us something refreshing and all they had was something called "river cola"! It rained.

Other that that France as I know it, is a nice country.

    I don't know why i said this...

    Nice video Daniel :D

  • Lol first time I watch it.... AS a french girl, I find it amazing like most of your video. I love this image people have of us!! but it's far from the reality :p

Un grand bonjour de la France et mille bises pour toi!!!

  • Merci!

  • de rien!!!!!!!

  • very nice, very funny

  • senor isn't french haha, monsieur is french for man

  • And the music is a tango called La Cumparsita! XD

  • totally awesome !!ah ah !

  • Lol tres bien ton accent quand je parle en anglais sa ressemble un petit peu au tien ==> cool video that accent is like the mine when i talk in english ^^

    PS: im belgian xD

  • Coo, thanks! :)

  • Next time do a cheesy Brazilian guy, the kind everyone hates. You have a lifetime of experience seeing them in public, and you can use your knowledge of portugese. Put on a type of outfit they wear, and dazzle us.

  • hhaaha! i love your facial expressions!

  • how funny..

  • this acordeon music i understand but....u realize its a tango and tangos are argentinian not french

  • you know that "Senor" is not french, right? Did you mean, "monsieur"?

  • it's not fiancé it's : wow how bad is my video..shall erase it!

  • "Do you know what the French word for Fiancé is? Fiancé." Pure genius. XD

  • You crack me up Daniel. I'd love to visit France. Have you ever seen the film Amelie? The scenery in it is gorgeous. :)

  • I've only seen parts, but it is quite french, no? :)

  • You scare me.. I like it xD

  • Haha, good way for it to be. :)

  • your accent is very well. but why do you mix Spanish and French? lol. I like when you say "fiançé"!

  • hahaha lol u freakeyyier than me in school wooo.... u should see me ....aywayz can ya teach me french i got 1% out ov 30 =( in my test lol

  • ...

  • Oh my God I laughed so much, out loud, like a crazy person, just by looking at this video. You have the funniest face ever. I'm a French-speaking Canadian but I've been to France...However, a mustache did not grow magically on me and I did not start to mysteriously slap myself :) You are hilarious...btw, "senor" = Monsieur in French

  • Glad you liked it Sarah, :)

  • bonjour senor. very funny. senor is spanish. good video

  • Better than brookers video I would have to say

  • good job with the slapping

  • For me to start playing the Accordiaun it is 5 fraunks, for me to stop playeeng, it aes twonty fraunks

  • Haha, someone got the joke...I thought maybe the audio would be so bad that no one would get it.

  • nope, I got it too.

you're brilliant, by the way, if I haven't mentioned before.

  • ahhhh i love it !! freakin love ittt !!

  • Fiance... :-D

Wow I love this strangeness. And the cute widdle fake stache! Ha! ~L~

  • Lol. very funny.

  • SHUDDER!

  • It's always fascinating - for a French person, like me - to see how French people, culture and customs are being stereotyped around the world. I think you're hilarious most of the time, and this video is not at all offending. But I have to say, this just doesn't make me laugh and I can't manage to recognize any French trait in your imitation. Does that make you win if I say my dad's got a moustache..?

  • shouldn't that be "monsieur", instead of "senor"??

  • hehehe. Maybe professor Withers should say what he thinks of the french... heheheh

  • I really like the length your hair is right now... And awesome vid. I lawl'd. ^_^

    Good stuff. *squinty Adam nod*

  • I like it too, :) Thanks!

  • LOL funny !!! i like ur style

  • When I saw you commented I pointed at the computer screen and screamed! :D Thanks for taking the time to comment. :) You had better like my style - YOU are the main inspiration behind it! :D Thank you!

  • Hahaha. You're a genius Daniel. I love it.

  • Haha, I adore you way too much! Genius!

  • haha ! XD

  • haha

  • now i can go to bed with a BIG smile :D

    *grin*

  • You make me smile! Thanks!

  • bonjour senior?u kinda mixed spanish and french there

  • Wanna see a clip from a real french film with Johnny Depp in it? Find "Johnny Depp's cameo role in french film". Enjoy!

  • For the record, though, the French don't say "Señor." That's Spanish. They say "Monsieur."

  • Good try, but this is an italian accent

  • lmao ps...seniour (however you spell it) is spanish lol monsieur is french (however you spell it )

AWESOME vid tho absolutly loved it

  • My god... he can slap!

How about some cheese on light toasted... toast?

  • Interesting glass for your posh wine...

Lol, no one would be married! Now that's sad. Thank God for the French!

  • You're a strange man! Haha ^_^

  • I don't know what your day job is, but you could be a really great actor. They say the best actors, like Marlon Brando and James Dean, are the ones that can play all sorts of characters. I really love the wide range of characters that you portray. :-D

  • hahahaha I want to be your fiancée!^^... this is some funny ish.

  • I hate French... but now I'll think about it twice! ^^

  • Hey Daniel!Tu vas vraiment moins faire le malin à propos de la France si je t'écris dans notre langue si chère:) hein!SAPERLIPOPETTE!You'll be not a Pirate in a long time if you continue...hum!You look like an italian man more than a french man...:) SEGNOR!^^

Take Care!Hope to see you this summer in France!ahah=haha I want my mum to be your fiancée!^^

  • tres bien monsieur daniel!! j'adore ton films!! :D

  • It's supposed to be Bonjour Monsieur... Not Bonjour Senor, lol.

  • ROFL! Wow. That is awesome.

  • Daniel, here's one mistake: "La Cumparsita" is from Argentina, not France! XDDD Good video though!

  • LOL, that was much better then Brookers!!!

  • HAHA! I luved Brookers, but I think urs blew hers out of the water.... :-)>

  • hahahahah i love the whole "if the french never invented the word fiancée, nobody would be married" xD

  • would u like some chesse on toasted..... toaost *LOL*

  • VIVA LA FRANCE

  • It's "Vive", but ok, thanks. :)

  • your videos our so nice and short and so hilarious!

  • silly =)

  • *blink* Um... *dies laughing*

  • Heheheh. Señor... ^_^ I have my suspicions you just did that to see how many pedants you could attract. ^_^

I'm sorry, I forgot myself completely. I mean; SENIOR?!?! THAT'S GODDAMN POLISH, DUDE! DU UR RESURTSH NXT TIME!!!11 gay.

  • hahah that was awsome man i loved it great vid :)

  • But Daniel why must you hit yourself so much?

    Lovely video as always :)

  • I didn't know you were French, Daniel! Haha, This made my day. =D

  • fiance!! *dies* that was great, Daniel, except for the fact that the song isn't french ;-) It's an argentine tango song :P sorry, I just can't help picking on ya.

  • ...ow?

  • lmao, Your eyes are always so WIDE in your videos. It's funny. O.O FIANCEEE. I don't know how to spell it. FIAAANCEEEEEEEE.

  • looooooool loved it...your French accent was so cool !

  • Merci Joana, :)

  • great accent

  • brilliant just brilliant

  • true, but the two do not mean the other.

  • We'd still have the word "betrothed". :)

  • Dude...you gotta get yourself outta Brazil and into LA where your talents can truly be exploited...errr... explored! ... ya... explored.

  • SO hilarious! What a great rubberface! I just kept wanting you to remember it's "monsieur" not "senor"...

  • Ack! Merci monsieur Toni! :)

  • Ack again...Madame Toni!! :D When I get my camera, I will post a rubberface reply - I am your female (albeit older) counterpart!

  • You are supercool:D

  • Daniel, you're absolutly adorable and you always make me laugh. Thank you!

  • ROFLOL!!! I love it!!!!

  • You reminded me of some of the great silent screen comedians -- Chaplin, Keaton, Lloyd. Why not try a black&white silent short -- your facial expressions are fantastic.

  • Thanks for the tip, sounds like a great idea! :)

  • Daniel, Daniel, Daniel . . . . . Thanks for making me laugh on a boring Friday. Hey, BTW I just posted my first video blog . . . . . any tips?

    Erin

  • "Just think if we hadn't invented the word fiance, no one would be married!" HAHAHAHAHAHA...that is sooo great. :-D

  • Hahaha!! I love the last line "the french word for the word fiancé..." LOL!! But that's always funny to see how foreigners say "oui oui" when they want to speak French. No one would say that in reality coz Oui Oui is the name of a character for children's book :D

  • seriously, the music drowned out some of the video audio :S

  • vraiment magnifique... je t'aime !

this reminded me of robbin williams with a bit of jim carey mixed in lol

you get what i mean lol

  • Artsy? Thats not artsy.

    haha

  • You don't appreciate true art, Ethan. :D

  • So hilarious. Favourited!

  • You and Jim Carrey have one thing in common: your facial expressions! They're genious :) And the videos hysterical. I like it, but I always like your videos :)

  • I totally agree--hysterically funny video, and yes, reminiscent of Jim Carrey in the rubber-face department. I suppose I'm also thinking of a young Jerry Lewis, and given the way the french feel about him, this may be even more on target.

  • TomCory: this is just to let you know that the French liking Jerry Lewis is an American urban legend and stereotype about the French. I am french and I can tell you that most people here (under 40!) don't even KNOW who he is, let alone like him. Btw, I haven't seen a béret in decades. This video is a parody of american stereotypes, not of real french people... :) We hate snobbery, and "artsy-fartsy"... I mean, you yanks should update your stereotypes...

  • Hmm. I stand somewhat corrected. For the origins of the Jerry Lewis/French phenomenon (or legend), type the following into Google: <<Straight Dope Jerry Lewis>> (I attempted to paste the URL here, but YouTube disallows doing this). Either way, it doesnt affect my appreciation of Daniel's funny and generally benign parody. Be careful: your implicit judgment of "We Yanks" borders dangerously close on that snobbery you claim to hate.

  • TomC: thanks for the article, which in spite of everything I think fails in showing that the french REALLY don't know/like JL. What it says about JL getting rewards in France you could say about Clint Eastwood or Coppola. As to the "yank" bit, didn't want to offend, but you see, that's what happens with stereotypes, you see something the stereotype wants you to see. Like if I see a black man dancing I'll say "wow blacks can dance!" ie: I wasn't being snobbish. Maybe a little ironic.

  • Oneryc59: I'm right there with you regarding cultural stereotypes. Can you imagine if, instead of a two-minute parody stereotyping your culture, you had to endure the #1 cable show of all time doing the same--and winning countless awards for it? (continued in next post....)

  • The likes of "The Sopranos," "Growing up Gotti" (even worse!) and a dozen-and-one films like "Moonstruck" portray Italian-Americans as uncultured goons, whose vocabulary extends little beyond the likes of "Bada-Bing" and "Fuggedahboudit." I'm a college professor; my brother is a lawyer and my sister is a doctor. None of us speaks that way, nor do we go out in public wearing sweatpants and gold chains.

  • Worst of all, a whole segment of the Italian-American population actually CELEBRATES this stereotype, and seeks to perpetuate it. So, yes: I understand.

Here's to the best thing about YouTube, that being the opportunity to set the global record straight, and to eradicate preconceived notions about culture, gender, age, etc. just by being who we are.

  • TomC: I'm with you on everything you said, especially with YouTube allowing ppl to set the record straight. I do it all the time :D As to the sopranos etc, I thought those shows were written by ppl who know about the subject. Take Scorcese and Coppola's movies? Well, we have regional/ethnic stereotypes here too...

  • Scorcese & Coppola did it first, and did it best, for sure! Trouble is, as with the "Artsy French" stereotype which started this discussion, Scorcese & Coppola's images of Italian-Americans are now almost half a century out of date! Ah well... THANK YOU for your all generous discussion and enlightening feedback!

  • Actually, I know who Jerry Lewis is and I appriciate his music, thank you.

  • you are just a tiny bit crazy aren't you...? ;D this one cracked me up
