Hi, does the knot today leave white residue when you mix it with all the oils? I used it the other day after a deep condition with olive oil root stimulator, and I rubbed it in with a lil bit of raw Shea butter and essential oil, and then I got white chunks in my hair, I am transitioning from relaxed hair, and I like the detangle effect but I needed more moisture. I am still trying t ofigure out which leave in works, ugh, didn't find one yet.Do you recommend deep cond for transitioning hair??
@Grandmasterskinny hey hun, no mine never has but maybe it acts different in different ppls hair... It couldve been the shea butter that did it... And yes, deep conditioning is important regardless..you should try to do it once a week. Many ppl like the Giovanni direct leave in if you're looking for something else..

I recently bought some Oyin Handmade Burnt Sugar Pomade, so when I use the Shea Moisture leave-in, I seal with the pomade. My hair LOVES it!! I am going to be wearing a curly afro so much more from now on. When I seal with the pomade I gently but firmly rub my hands in large circles and my hair comes out soft, moisturized and full of beautiful, big, juicy curls that last all day, smell great and have NO FRIZZ!! Absolutely none!! I'm thinking that Oyin's might become my signature line.
@SueLocd its funny u say that because ever since I began using the shea moisture to seal, I've used the Burnt sugar for all of my styling and MAN, my hair ever so soft and defined. Oyin is great!

The rep told me that the leave can be purchased online but some beauty supply stores may order it and sell it at their stores. I purchased mine at my local beauty supply store and they always have it.
