The problem I had with this game - All the computer opponents are Super Turbo. So having all the variations of everyone is pretty pointless, unless you're playing with a friend in VS mode.

This =\= HDR. HDR is super turbo. Hyper sf2 is every street fighter in one. Meaning you can use world warrior Ryu, hyper fighting Ryu, championship edition Ryu, super Ryu, or Super turbo Ryu. Each of them all have balancing differences. Like world warrior sagat being better than st sagat 100%

they are diffrent versions of the player and they have diffrent strenghts and weaknesses. For instance normal Guile wont have as many moves as Super (super meaning from super street fighter 2) Guile but normal guile's attacks are much stronger.

Hahas at the combo at 01:27. Guile strikes 5 times but the combo register only got 4 hits.

The big problem I have with this game is that the computer only uses Super Turbo characters so if you were to pick a Super Turbo or Super character you were pretty much just playing regular Super Street Fighter II Turbo. I really wanted to fight the original SFII bosses with Super Turbo Zangief but they weren't even in the game.

I've been playing superSF2 on the snes for a long time and I just recently purchased hypersf2 on the ps2. It's ridiculously harder on the ps2, I can't even beat the first opponent. Has anyone else had any problems?

Yeah I did too. But it's cool though, it makes more of a challenge. Now I can go thru the game on normal setting and maybe lose anywhere from 1-2 times to around 3-4 times before completing the game. It made me amazing at this game....

i got this game on my street fighter anniversary collection for ps2. The game is really addicting and watching the trailers just makes you wanna play it more. Really amazing game and any hardcore sf fan would want this game
