Ahh, the problem with that is that the Cpanel file manager does not show .htaccess files by default. When you boot up the file manager, there should be a box that is shown where you can select the domain that you want to view. Just below that selection box, there is a box that you can select that enables you to view dot hidden files. That should fix the issue for you. :)
Worked excellently for me however using the Control Panel File Explorer did not copy the .htaccess file required by one of my plugins - I had to do that manually and change its content for the new directory structure. All fine otherwise. Thanks.
@stomperz2 hmm, that is an interesting one with the .htaccess file. I might even forward that through to Jason (the guy behind the plugin) and see if he has any plans to add that functionality. Apart from that, copying the .htaccess file is not a huge task, and in most cases, if you need to copy it, you will know how to do it in a few seconds.
hi ryan, followed all the steps but I got a white screen of death when I access the new domain site that I have cloned my blog to, any suggestions?

Thank you, sir. This is exactly what I needed. I was about to drop $100 on some software, but this is really just as fast!
