A beautiful military demonstration, generally. I love the references back to the old Czarist uniforms. I still wish that Russia would give up the goosestepping. I know on an intellectual level that a mere style of marching doesn't matter. I also understand the custom has an old history long predating either the Bolsheviks of the Nazis. Still, in the West, goosestepping has acquired the connotations of tyranny, fascism, & aggression. "Goosestepping minions" is a term of abuse. It's how I feel
