@videocritic4u I think the line is either meant as "yes yes I know but I still want to be close to her" or as "You look at her like she is nothing but I know she is more". The reason I say this is because her tone isn't mean or mocking, but gentle and kind and she reaches toward Grizabella.

thise part always made me cry infact the entire Grizabella story makes me cry their is a sort of story behind her she once rejected them and some say Monkestrap[however u spell his name is her son and she abandond him as a tiny kitten thats why he hates her the story is on the internet its really long and when i seen cats some of the cast told me too

The dance she's doing is the one from the last half of the ball not Victoria's. The two are easily confused.

@xiaolinmaster can you explain both endings, because i thought that grizzablla was trying to get the cats to accept her back into the clan. i thought she abandoned the clan long ago, and then decided to come back, hoping they woulld forgive her and let her be apart of them once more! and gus, i never truly knew much about his part, i guess he too was also trying to re-live the glory days of his youth as a young cat actor. can you tell me the real reason for each role in this play? - thanx :)

She was actually dubbed in the movie. :( Since she was from... Dublin I believe, she had a heavy English accent. Whoever dubbed her, has a magnificent voice! :D
