Hiragana and Katakana are the most basic and I highly suggest learning to say and write them both correctly, their uses, etc. before going any further in your Japanese studies. If you don't, you won't be able to understand a thing, and you'll probably sound like an idiot.

Written in japanese should be something like this: こんいちわ、私（わたし）のなまえわヘンリです。 The bracket thing is, the hiragana version of watashi. I usually use kana/kaji that's why.

So Japanese don't make it.

Why Japan use Romaji?
