20 years ago some old German woman made me break it to her that... yeah, it's not German any more. I thought (hoped) she belonged to the dying generation but looks like you guys never give up. This clip is disgusting. Unless, of course you mute it.
Fuck off, Deutschen. It's ours, live through it...
Marzy sie szwabom "powrót" oj marzy...Ale nic z tego faszystowskie ścierwa.Już nie raz dostaliście po ryju od Polaków i...dostaniecie nie raz! RAUS!!!
St Aldalbert was the German translation of orignal Czech name Vojtek - Wojcieh in Polish. He ministered to the Kaszuby people who lived in the fishing village of Gdansk. He was killed in 9th Century -martyred either by raiding party of Old Prussians or by Kaszuby after a dispute.
Danzig (Westpreußen) is the most beautiful of the former German territories and it is the city of Arthur Schopenhauer and Der Lachs Danziger Goldwasser.
Do the math if you still think Gdansk is a German city. (I am not polish but I hate when people twist facts just to suit their needs): 997-1308: as part of Poland 1308-1454: as part of territory of Teutonic Order 1454-1466: Thirteen Years' War 1466-1793: as part of Poland 1793-1805: as part of Prussia 1807-1814: as free city 1815-1871: as part of Prussia 1871-1918: Imperial Germany 1918-1939: as a free city 1939-1945: Nazi Germany
The city's name is thought to originate from the Gdania River, the original name of the Motława branch on which the city is situated. Gdańsk and Gdania are considered to be derivations from the Gothic name of the area (Gutiskandja)
Gdańsk, of course, is historically linked to Germany and Poland. Germany during the war destroyed much of the city, and the Poles themselves all rebuilt. Therefore, the only Polish city. Poles when they want it they can.
The city was destroyed by the Russians - not during any battle situation, but 2 days after the until 1945 nearly undestroyed town was handed over to the Russian troops.
Strange enough, that the Poles did rebuild the German 15/16th century buildings of the old town, although they represent the German heritage of the town. Also in the years 1454 to 1793 all Polish attempts to conquer the town and fully intergrate it into Poland (i.e. siege of 1577) failed. The city remained fully independant.
after the First World War, he would be never wars. If none the state in Europe will not be in excess powerful .His ideas were not stupid. Only the stupid realization. Peacefully will dissolve possible disputes of future. In our event it depended on the access to the sea. Allies tormented Germany too strongly. But so kept a good bit Royal Prussia and Wielkopolska.
The Polish Wehrmacht of Pilsudski, the Polish Regency Kingdom with Habsburg King of Poland (including even AUSTRIAN PARTITION ENTIRELY !!), all was forgotten in 1919. Suddenly, Polish 'Roman Dmowski' fanaticized anti-German chauvinism emerged. In 1924 one-third of German farms were nationalized in Posen (Wielkopolska 1919-1939)! 1.2 Mio. ethnic Germans expelled or expropriated by 1929. These facts are covered up today. They prove Polish guilt. West Prussia (1910): 67 % German language.
Haha! Perfectly you know that the army of Second Reich or Austria-Hungary was not called "Wehrmacht". Little time before the First World War and during this conflict, three emperors outvied each other for the enlargement to our autonomy and the end of denationalizing. Polish as several generations to this, was again official language. Our strategic bearings. Three black eagles they knew that the result of this war could be relative to this, after whose side we will fight. We, great warriors.
Farms in Poznań? Poznań isnt a village! This is city! The second most important and biggest city in Poland. I never heard about nationalization of "farms in Poznań". But I can into nationalization believe. People wish retaliation. Especially retaliation on colonials. During Prussian occupation, for us this was commonplaceness. You don't like Dmowski? The normalcy. They hate him all for which poor Poland is profitable. Then all they lay in wait for existence of our country.
Farms in Wielkopolska (former Posen Province). Nationalization of German farms in Wielkopolska. These Germans were not colonials. The German landowners of the Deutscher Ostmarkenverein etc. and the Prussian Settlement Commission, were nobility. I mean German, poor, small farmers were nationalized and expelled.
Germans cannot be poor! Germans always were famous for managings. Really I believe in the nationalization of German farmers. But I would not be myself, if I did not demand proofs: Who? How? Where? When? Exactly! Who gave the legal act? Who realized? Who signed the legal act?
In the former Communist Soviet occupation zone of remnant Germany (GDR, of Honecker), the Germans are still very poor. Do you realize, that German farmers were hard workers - and more disciplined than many Poles. This is a fact. Go and compare the German and Slunsko farms in Oppeln Voivodeship with the Polish-ruled farms in Lower Silesia now. The latter are falling apart. My source is Alfred de Zayas. I do not know Polish minister name. It is a fact though.
Excuse me! We speak about Wielkopolske moment after the First World War. The Soviet occupation was 27 years later. Would be earlier, if Poland did not save Europe in 1920. Again you slunk away from the difficult question. Who and when gave the legal act peremptory the nationalization of farms moment after Wielkopolska Uprising?
I know Poland saved Europe in the Battle of Warsaw on August 15, 1920. But it was the icon of Our Lady of Deutsch Piekar (Mary of Piekary Śląskie) which inspired this. The German Freikorps also weakened the Bolsheviks in 1919-1921 Baltic battles. Mostly farms, but also German houses were nationalized and stolen by the Polish authorities. 758.867 Germans were expelled from 1919-1924. 132.644 sq km2 of German farm lands were nationalized. 30 August 1924 Polish Law on Nationalities.
I did not find nor words about this law. But anyway I believe to you. People after 120 years of the treatment as subpeople on native Wielkopolska surely they did not intend to defend intruders.
In total, from 1919-1924 from newly refounded Poland 1.4 million Germans were expelled, mostly with force. So stop blaming Germans. From 1939-1944, only 684.589 Polish citizens who were not Wielkopolska natives (but immigrants after 1924 sic!, not after 1919) were resettled in the General-Government of Poland, near Kraków. The Polish government today is claiming, that the Nazis expelled too. This was only done in the Aktion Zamosc - and on a small scale. WIthout state consent. Himmler only
Why with force? You do not believe in "polnische wirtschaft"? I am touched. Which German does not madden "polnische wirtschaft"? They ran along there, where was not "polnische wirtschaft". Poles love every, who does not bother. Not it is proper to bother. I do not know the culture is preferred in which bothering. 120 years of bothering, are long. Four or five generations. National socialists did not throw out Poles whose the jobs and skills could be useful in place. To blame Martians?
The Nazis never threw out any native Polish settlers. The Drzywala family was never thrown out of the Warthegau. And the Germans expropriated from 1919-1924 from Posen and West Prussia: they lived there since 1200s already. They were natives. Like Poles in Volhynia were natives too. Germans settled EMPTY and uncultivated uninhabited regions of Wielkopolska. The populations were very small in the Middle Ages, especially before 1250 AD. Do you realize these facts?
These insinuations are painful. I know what I speak. When they invaded Gdynia, remained only Poles whose jobs could be useful for the invader. My grandfather and his family obtained permission that to remain, because he was a railwayman. The half of his friends were taken away with freight-cars to General Governor. Second the half to Stuthof. Never "Posen". Never "West Prussia". Disgraceful names.
Gdynia-Gdingen was a Polonization centre. Many Poles brought into the former small village after 1919. So the Germans expelled all who were not pre-1919 natives. Never West Prussia? This is an internationally used description. You can invent whatever you want. Province of Posen and Grand Duchy of Poznan existed.
The village with the name "Gdina" came into being about late Middle Ages. Was not developed, because was Gdańsk. After the First World War a biggest city of the Pomeranian voivodeship was Puck. Useful as the port for tourists. Useless as the industrial port. In Gdynia one glorifies Kashubians! As on all Pomeranian voivodeship. Perfectly I know that "West Prussia" was an international name. But immoral.
Yes, Gdina is first mentioned in the Late Middle Ages. In 1512, numerous Polish and German Lutherans lived there, alongside Kashubian Catholic fishermen. By 1600, several Catholic Danzig ethnic Germans joined them. A small village. Putzig (Puck) was called Pautzke - and was an original German foundation of the Middle Ages. West Prussia is not insulting, but historical-political. Pomerelia is historical as well. Name "Gdansk" insults Danzig survivors in Germany too!
Puck practically is not a city. Today about 11.000 inhabitants. Creators the Versailles Treaty scoffed. "Gdańsk" insults? This is not the word invented in XX century! This is the mediaeval name. Equivalent with "Danzig". Anyway "Gnesen", "West Prussia", "Posen", "Litzmanstadt" or "Gotenhafen" does not insult me. The usage of these names is only disgusting. The abomination, repellent, horrid, repulsive, ugly... The invader dictates the nomenclature to its own victims.
Putzig was German-founded; Pautzke is not a Slavic invention probably. Dantzicum is what was in Medieval documents. Gdansk may come from Gothiscandza (Territory of Goths). It is Slavic. So what? Wolsztyn in Wielkopolska is Wollstein, a German name, a German foundation, but in 1918 had a Polish speaking majority. Danzig had 98 % German-speaking majority, 2 % Kashubian, 0.2 % Polish in 1931. Litzmannstadt and Gotenhafen are Nazi names, not German original names! Danzig is not a Nazi name, stop it!
In Middle Ages Gdańsk had several names. I never insinuated that it is the name invented by national socialists or Prussians! Oldest supplied documentary evidence is "Gyddanyzc". Very possible that first settlers were Goths several hundred years earlier. Other names in history: "Kdansk", "Gdanzc", "Dantzk", "Dantzig", "Dantzigk", "Danzig", "Dantiscum", "Dantzick" and "Gedanum". "GD" in languages of old Slavs to mean waterlogged areas. The name reminds also Danish language.
Okay, then we agree. I do not think Danish settlement can be proved. The Danes settled on the Slavic pagan villages on the island of Rügen from their island of Bornholm. Nevertheless, Paris was once Celtic, but not part of Brittanny (Bretagne) ore Ireland right now. It became Romano-Frankish, and new French. Like Danzig became German-ethnic.
Perhaps once archaeologists will prove, who first founded the city. He will be with difficulty. The finish of Vistula and Gdańsk Bay is a very attractive place. Anybody founded the city, was not a first inhabitant of this ground. But for me this is only a curiosity. The following chapter of history allocable in the blank paper. There interests me the only saint rule: "Pacta sunt servanda".
The argument that Gdańsk founded Danes is my private. Research workers rather not so do not speak. I biased with the nomenclature: In Danish language the substantive "Dansk" is meaning just Danish language. The interested coincidence? Old Slavs added "GD" qualifying every waterlogged areas. When the city is situated on the very important trade route junctive the inland navigation and of sea, Danish traces are not unusual.
LuzatyMir- St Aldalbert first brought Gospel to Kaszuby in Gdanyzc in 10th Century. He was a Slav- his real name was Vojtech (Wojcieh). He was martyred by a raiding party of Old Prussians (Some accounts say he got into an argument with Kazuby). Allenstein/Olyztn is neither Polish or German but from Old Prussian Ale.-
In XIII century he already existed the census? Super. Really I believe that a lot Germans went to Germany little after the First World War. But whether to believe in so terrible constraint? I will keep the prudent. From here conclusion that "Königlich Preußische Ansiedlungskommission in den Provinzen Westpreußen und Posen" was absolutely superfluous? Why have I them to regret? What did they make, to hold back Prussian scurvy tricks? As good neighbours.
Ok. 975 r. nad rzeką Motławą z inicjatywy Mieszka I, wybudowano gród z portem.
Your german Danzig was completly destroyed by your soviet friends.
So everything what you can see now in Gdańsk is reconstructed by Polish FACT. So you can come to beautiful polish city of Gdansk for holidays and keep your memory of german Danzig into your heads only.
Danzig was German! Poland refused to give it to the Reich! Ignorant Poland. But okay, I understand your heart is broken being the football of other nations playing a big game with you, from the time there was Poland till nowadays, but you cannot live without other big nations beating your ass up, as you cannot live without licking Americas ass nowadays. Poor Poland, perhaps you become a real Nation, with pride and honour, some time, in the far future perhaps.
"Real Nation with Pride and Honour" kinda like Germany ? If I understand right, Poland should build some crematoria , build some concentration comps, preferably in other countries. Kill millions of people, then Like Germany today, play a victim, and cry like babe after loosing Pomerania and Prussia. this is what you call being prid and honour ???
And just to make sure Poland did win a Bronze in Handball word Cup this year , where was Germany ?? Poland is a proud nation , we stud up to Germany and Russia in 1939. 2 biggest countries in the world at the time. That is very remarkable !
Gdańsk was a part of Poland during eight hundred years. Pauses were due wars. But is this important? What marks eight hundred years? Who wanted to live in Germany, could go to Germany. The free way.
i do not see a problem, if the Germans want so much Gdnask and other cities in the est, all they have to do is to start one more WAR, maybe this time they will WIN, and Gdansk will be German again !!
Nazi Germans started the unprecedented policy of hostility, hatred and later ethnic cleansing in Gdansk. They murdered Gdansk's Jews and Gypsies; they persecuted and many times killed Gdansk's Poles. Before that, Gdansk - whether belonging to Poland, Germany or being a Free City (Freistadt, Wolne Miasto) - was tolerant, multi-national, multi-cultural. Inhabitants of Gdansk felt its CITIZENS. Down with nazism!!!
The Jews from Danzig mostly could leave the city via Poland and via Mussolini's Fascist Italy, and fled to Portugal, neutral Franco's Spain, or to the United States. Of course Nazi racist policies existed. There were no more than 2.7 % Poles in Danzig, almost all installed by the Polish government in 1920 for the "Free City" under Polish domination. The Slavic Kashubians like Günter Grass' mother Helene Kroff, all felt like German citizens. Of course it was multi-ethnic. Not under PL occupation
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
1.9 Million ethnic Germans were murdered inside what is now "modern Poland's territories", by various methods, in camps etc. or by brutal massacres and actions. But this fact is never spoken about. It is alleged only Germans were criminals.
have you ever heard about Katyń ?? check this out and next time think a bit(thinkig doesnt cost and doesnt hurt) if you want me suggest we(all polish nation)collaborated with soviets... i heard about traitors like bolesław bierut,władysław gomułka or wanda wasilewska.
The Polish eastern legions fought side by side with the Soviet Red Army. They plundered Berlin and maybe also raped German women alongside the Russian and other Bolshevik soldiers? I know about Katýn. But Katýn was not decreed by Hitler or "the" Germans. You can call the communist Poles traitors, but still those Polish "traitors" gained you Silesia and other German east provinces. And Poles continue to inhabit them since 1946. Even today they remain. So? You accept criminality thereby.
yep they also fought side by side with british, french, americans... but unfortunately you dont know even why... i also see i know nothing about Katan, excluding that is wasnt decreed by hitler. your history knowledge is based on speculations "They plundered Berlin and maybe also raped German" and maybe they also attacked germany september 1st 1939 hm ?? i will be grateful if you send something about "polish-soviet camps" cuz i found nothing on internet
Poles attacked ethnic Germans in Bromberg during the entire summer of 1939. As to the Polish concentration camps for Germans from Schlesien-Silesia: seek Lamsdorf and the name of Alfred de Zayas on the "Vertreibung" (Expulsion). There is plenty on the internet. Although of course censored.
so what russians did in Lamsdorf which used to belong to Germany >?? how poles and russians were murdering germans hm ?? another thing. if we were such a good collaborators with russians why they were fucking our asses 45 years after war ?? and the last thing. you believe that Gleiwitz incident was really prepared by polish ? dont you ??
How u can be such an ignorant? Is it just stupidity or something wrong with your brain? Ribbentrop - Molotov pact, Lebensraum policy - was it invented in Poland?? on 1.09.1939 Germany attacked Poland after a good solid preparation, Anschlus of Chechoslovakia and silly demands for "exteritorial corridors" across Poland. As well its worth to mention - that nobody made such well organised concentration camps than your ancestors, so just shut up and dont start with those idiotic ideas.
The Poles in the 1930s (Nacional Democracija) had their own Pan-Slavic and Pan-Polish ideals to steal eastern Germany (incl. Danzig) from the self-determined German People. They did so in Upper Silesia (Oberschlesien) in 1921 already under Korfanty terrorists. Yes, the Molotov-Ribbentrop plan was criminal. So was the Bierut decrees, the Benes decrees, all planned before 1939 as anti-German policy already. Only implemented after the war in PL and CZ, criminal states like Stalin USSR.
You are like Jehova Witness - choosing only whats suits you. Silesians they had a free voting - and they choose to join to Poland. III Reich was prepering itself for conquer of all Europe - all nazi economy was made for only one purpose - war. Polish Panslavic ideas? That country didnt exist for over 120 years (before IWW) they had to improve a lot to become independent. Och - one more thing check the non agression treaty that was _cancelled by Germans_ just before IIWW. Bierut was communistic
.. idiot, who could burn his own country in his servilism towards russians. Dont cry over 'poor germans' they started the biggest confilct on the world, and they had to pay for that. How many generations lost their youth and chances for normal life because of them? Im the last generation who suffer - Im Polish economically - forced to leave my country and work abroad. Fucking Communism in my country - somehow - was implemented by NAZI's war
This is a book only for political purposes, not true history. Alfred de Zayas documented Polish attacks and murders. I heard it from German Franciscan priests OFM from Kutno. I know everything. You are an anti-German hate sower, who wants to murder all Germans. The Soviets did not kill all eastern Germans or make all flee. Millions stayed - and Poles expelled and killed these German women and children. In Poland in peace time, German civilians were killed. Nazis killed mostly Resistance men only
Nobody wants to wrong Germans. Passed many years. Huge percentage of present Germans were born after vote on NSDAP. So they didn't have influence. A fault is fact that NPD is still legal. But nobody is perfect. The most killed by national socialists was members of resistance? Surely you don't believe about you speak. Propaganda of Reich didn't introduce Red Army as monsters? It's surely sufficient reason to take fright and to escape.
It would be nice, if you'd take some extra English courses. 32.5 % of Germans voted NSDAP in 1932, March. In Nov. 1932 only 29.6 %. Highest votes of the NSDAP: in Masuria by the Polish-speaking Lutheran Masurians of Lyck, Johannisburg and other districts. Your Slavic Polish brethren. And in Schleswig (district Dithmarschen, 65 %). In Masurian lands up to 70 %. History is complex. And Polish chauvinist and Soviet and Allied propaganda will be refuted these coming years.
Poles on Masuria? If you did not know that the plebiscite in East Prussia had been for us a defeat. But nice that exceptionally you began to give some numbers. NSDAP surely pretty well won elections to Volkstag of the Free City.
The Polish nationalists of Gomulka claimed Masurians as Poles in 1950s propaganda. But Masurians spoke Polish dialect, were lutherans, pro-German, and voted NSDAP more than Munich, Regensburg, Münster and other western German cities. In Danzig the Nazis were large only due to the detachment from Germany. In the Ermland ("Warmia"), only 24 % NSDAP in 1932. In Dithmarschen 67 %.
Wladyslaw Gomulka was a National Communist within the Stalinist faction. Jakub Berman and Jozef Swiatlo were internationalists. Swiatlo was a Zionist. Not so Jakub Berman and Anatol Fejgin.
You still hold historical Eastern German lands (Silesia, Neumark/Nowia Marcia, Pomerania, Danzig, East Prussia, Ermland/Warmia, Goldap Corner) defined and accepted by that "USSR colony" People's Republic of Poland.
Germans were victims too. Finally Poland should recognize the German identity!
One can say that Gomułka was a national socialist. Because only adjective "national" differentiates this political trend out of other socialists. You must also know that during war Poland was one of very few invaded countries, wherein didn't exist collaboration government. Soviet occupation was otherguess. True collaboration government. Practically we were a part USSR, only one imitated independence. Well one imitated. Many it surrendered to deceive.
Hundred years to this I would be able to say: "You still hold historical polish land: Royal Prussia. This was this what you called "Danzig" and "Ermland". ROYAL PRUSSIA.
Recognize German identity! Many names of Gdańsk antique buildings contain German surnames: Ferber′s House, Schumanns′ House, Uphagen′s House... We are proud of the fact that was here born Fahrenheit. There are monuments of Johannes Hevelius entertainments called his name and prizes.
Royal Prussia was Polish only from 1410 AD until 1772 AD. From 1200 until 1410 it was part of the Teutonic Order. From 1100 until 1200 part of Pomeranian duchies who were pledging allegiance to the Holy Roman Empire of the German nation. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was multi-ethnic. Before 1772 up to 70 % of the population of Royal or Polish (West) Prussia was German-speaking. German-speaking, but loyal to the Polish King.
Commonwealth was not a nation-state. Nor was the Ottoman Emp.
Jesus Chris. So if anybody will steal your car, at once stops to be your property? You promote unimaginable fads. In 1772 we didn't sell or we did not present Royal Prussia. Prussians were thieves. They robbed also Austrians. Silesia is Austrian. Gentleman value disloyalty? Excuse me. Contract which we contracted with Teutonic Knights didn't foresee theft of Gdańsk Pomerania. Only christianization of Old Prussians.
After recovery of Gdańsk Pomerania , generously, rest of state of Teutonic Order became our fief. This contract also they broke. Again they stole Gdańsk Pomerania. In 1934 we contracted non-agression pact. The world didn't see bigger liars and thieves than Prussians. The disgraceful method whose used Prussians to obtain Gdańsk Pomerania is disqualifying.
If Silesia is Austrian, then you should give it back to them, shouldn't you. Be sure to ethnically cleanse all the Poles from it first. According to your logic, this is the right thing to do to make up for past wrongs, isn't it?
I said that Silesia is Austrian, to show to you that the most of grounds of the Kingdom of Prussia obtained using the aggressive war. I not will count as many contracts were broken by Prussians. Among other things Pragmatic sanction. They acknowledged the indivisibility of Austria. And what? Cheats!! I like to show the double-dealing. NPD calls me a "thief". Demanding the turn of Silesia for Germany, instead of Austria.
Prussia as a kingdom ceased existing in 1918. From 1870, it was German state authority which was central authority over Prussian territories. So stop about Prussia. You have an anti-Prussian and anti_German paranoia. If you give back Silesia to Austria, it is fine for me too. As long as German ethnic culture and history are recognized and restored. I want the Akcja Wisla Ukrainian victims to stay there. They are innocent, many live near Glatz/Klodzko. Good people. Not anti-German fanatics!!!
I thought that the Kingdom of Prussia had stopped to be with the Kingdom in 1871? Then II Reich? Later Prussia was an autonomous part II Reich. You find interested novelties. When the opportunity occurs. You wrote that in 1410 we had recovered Gdańsk Pomerania. Then was the battle of Grunwald. Royal Prussia came into being in 1466. Your memory to dates is poor.
2. I have an antiPrussian paranoia? Surely yourself you don't know how many they broke contracts. The most of grounds of Prussia they obtained using the aggressive war. Even Austria was victim. I cannot understand as one can admire such racketeers as Prussians. They contracted many contracts and all broke. Or the most. Anyway too much, to feel the respect. About Prussians one said many. But most more simply and most pointedly: A typical Prussian tradition is the makeup of contracts.
I state that the German Empire of 1870 was a nation-state of German self-determination. The 2nd Polish Republic of 1919 claimed Upper Silesia because of ethnic reasons. Like Masuria. The populations voted for Germany though. Remember that. Poland made ethnic claims, not pre-1795 Polish-Lithuanian royal claims. Pilsudski was a president, not a King. Yes, I meant 1466. I know the correct date, but I sent it already.
Piłsudski was a dictator. He never was a president. Yes. Silesia was not a part of Commonwealth before partitions. But remember that Pomeranian voivodship and Wielkopolska were approximately about 25% smaller than Royal Prussia and Wielkopolska during Commonwealth. So anyway Weimar Republic kept a good bit of their booties. Autonomous Silesian voivodship was not so large, to fulfilment.
Please remember that even Slask Autonomous Voivodeship of 1922-39 was never part of the Commonwealth. West Prussia had a 67 % German-speaking majority. Remember this. Excluding Danzig even. Bomst (Babimost) and Unruhstadt (Kargowa) had German-speaking 60 % majorities and remained inside Germany. Wolsztyn (Wollstein) had become more Polish-speaking - but was a German medieval foundation. Read Walddeutsche history. Józef BECK. Joseph Xaver ELSNER (Grottkau)!! All Germans. P. Kolbe Maksymilian too
Remember that Royal Prussia and we contracted contract. Gdańsk was awarded a prize very much for faithfulness against Teutonic Order. They got autonomy, right to production coins, low taxes & controlled trade. This was shocking motion, because only kings could produce coins. Then COA contained only 2 white crosses. King added crown to COA. Symbol of codivision of authority over kingdom. At that time this was shocking motion. What did it get Poland? The free trade route on all Vistula.
Every can be broken contract which signature. But must fulfil to his own contracting party. What was proposed by inhabitants of Gdańsk as the compensation? In Holland can every with impunity break contracts? The Dutch law does not protect you, if your contracting party will break an agreement? If not, this is the only such law in the world.
Do you think we Dutch now think we can occupy Ceuta in North Africa, or Cuba, because we held parts of it before, and because 16th century king Philip II was wrong in some things. Stop kidding me.
My knowledge about history of Holland is poor. But the oversea colony and the proper state? In the native position? To compare? But I have a certainty that these regions deteriorated, when Holland away. Local cannot proceed economically. They swore an oath? If so, the contract is a contract.
We? Are you the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania? No. So stop bothering about monarchical contracts, as your current Polish presidential republic is republican, and based on modern nation-state law of self-determination. On a right, which you do not accord to the peaceful German population of Danzig and West Prussia in 1919 and 1939.
This is the all problem? The head of state didn't have the surname Wettin. If he possessed such surname, then there would be no problem? Your respect to the democracy is selective. Because you do not respect the choice of Lithuanians. But "Danzigers" yes. But we are descendants of citizens of the king of Commonwealth. We always were proud that Poland had 1043 old. From you shocking conclusions. Thanks to you, I felt again young.
Of course, 95 % of Danzig wanted to belong to Germany. It is not about the head of state being Wettin (Albertine). Not at all. I respect Polish szlachta very much. You, the Polish nation, are not the kings of Poland-Lithuania. Polish people is a self-governing people. Not a restoration of the Monarchy and Commonwealth. You can do that. And then you can even have Danzig, Bomst, Unruhstadt/Kargowa, all you want. Even Polish royal houses in Westphalia. Only then. Multi-ethnic.
So Poland is not a successor of Poland? France during XIX century many times changed the gubernance. The empires, the kingdoms and the republics. None of them is a successor of the previous version? The big. Self-evident that citizens were the same people as in earlier France and their kids. I never would say that present Tunisia is a successor of Carthage, because citizens are completely other people, than then.
The nation-state of the Republic of Poland was a presidential system and declared as the state for the Polish people. Not as restoration of the Polish Kingdom or the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. What you say is nonsense. The Republic of Germany is not the successor to the Holy Roman Empire either. Northern Italy and Milan are not part of Germany - because of self-determination of peoples (Wilson concept). This made possible new foundation of republican Poland 1919.
Naturally the French republic is not a French monarchy. But France is France. Still the same language, the culture and progeny of earlier the French people. Second Republic of Poland wasn't a national state. I will say more: The biggest percentage of Jews in Europe. Here they feels most safely. We are descendants of citizens of Commonwealth. We speak with such itself language. And we cannot account themselves as the successor? You didn't answer a question concerning of France during XIX century!
The French monarchy had the Breton people, the Basque people, Italians in Nice (Nizza) and Corsica. Of course the French Republic took over the monarchy in a strict sense - but it was not the monarchy. And the Republic did not accord language rights. The Kings of France only francophonized in French Flanders, to minimize the Dutch language. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth did not produce the nation-state of Poland, a creation of Versailles. Regency Kingdom stopped in 1918.
Thank you. So during one moment old France deceased and was born new France. Citizens of old France disappeared astrally. And astrally appeared citizens of new France. I know that you are a monarchist. Monarchists acknowledge that all that contradictory with the king′s political system and law is illegal. But be also with the realist. Frenchman who was born moment before the revolution and died many years later, was such himself Frenchman.
The French speaking who lived in the Spanish and Austrian Netherlands (Walloon) were French ethnic persons, but not citizens of France. The French Monarchy also lost Québec - ethnic French. Poland in 1919 was not a revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, but a creation of Wilsonian "self determination" of peoples - used of course only against Germans. Czechoslovakia was not a revival of the Greater Moravian kingdom of the 9th century either!
Your private scholastic opinion about 1000 of summer-history of people. 1000 years old culture appeared astrally after 1918. Poorly I know history of Czech. You forgot that near border between Germany & Denmark had happened plebiscite. South stayed in Germany, and north wanted Denmark. Strange that you forget so interested facts. Doesn't interest me which grounds were wasted by France. I asked whether every gubernance of France during XIX century is a successor of previous political system.
I know of the 1000 year old culture of Poland. This culture however lived in symbiosis with German culture - whence Poland was missionzied. The Czechs are lived in symbiosis with German culture and the German Church. The Schleswig plebiscite was never put into question by Hitler. He recognized it. But in Upper Silesia, Poland took land despite defeat in referendum. In West Prussia and Masuria: between 70 and 97 % for Germany. Facts.
At last. You admitted that we existed the minimum of 1000 years. I must admit that our culture evolves. More and more reminds the American culture. Texts written in Polish 1000 years ago are not easy to the perusal for present Poles. Nonetheless, looking through these texts, one cannot be mistaken. Poles love all nations. We can exist with all which reciprocity this. But who oppresses us, will get the same. Just. Not we destroy this symbiosis. Was not the partitioning of Prussia.
The Polish nation as such was not developped fully however until 1335. You cannot claim Czechs in the Boleslaw I Chobry multi-national multi-nobility alliance were all "Poles", or that Sorbians are Poles, or that the Germans in the monasteries and villages of Lower Silesia and Pomerania by 981 were "all Poles". Polish statehood is 1000 year old, and Polish noble culture. Did you think I hate Polish culture? I fight for historical truth - not against Polish history or people.
Very well that you stick out for the historical truth. The honesty is separate. You nothing pardon to us. But to Prussians you pardon all. Prussian matters above all. Our matters also! If this matters aren't contradictory with Prussian matters. Disgusting is the argument that the Hakata was legal! The argument that we wanted to conquer Mecklenburg or something near this place, is so funny, till I have not the power to be irritated .
I of course forgive the Polish people. If you would know me, you'd know that I condemn Józef Beck, Churchill and Marshall Rydz-Smigly, and Roman Dmowski and Adalbert von Winkler and Korfanty, but not Pilsudski, not Jan III Sobieski, not present Polish people. Polish people were guilty, but also victims. Like German people were sometimes guilty, sometimes victims in WW2. It is complicated. I condemn Kulturkampf, but I do not hate all Prussia for that. "HaKaTa" was legal, of course & unsuccesful
Condemn Beck because wasn't humble calf. Shame to which didn't fall on knees before fuhrer. He would melt . Increasingly would require not awaiting murmurs. Piłsudski was socialist & guilty of weakness of our army. With booster of tenet of XIX century. Dmowski was true patriots. Because political correctness media spit at Dmowski % glorify Piłsudski. Piłsudski didn't interest Wielkopolska. You should condemn also Anthony Abraham. Nothing complicated. You despise with saint right to defence.
Józef Beck was a clever diplomat, a snake. He once was friends with Hermann Goering (their wives were friends too). Pilsudski was a social-democrat and patriot - not a Dmowski anti-German extreme nationalist. 1935 death of Pilsudski is mysterious.
Even if Piłsudski was a patriot, was also an idiot. Hereject an interested offers to buy of the modern weapon from France. Dmowski would refuse nothing. The death Piłsudskiego is mysterious?? HAHAHAHA. Very late. Interested whether is mysterious the death of the outstanding general Tadeusz Rozwadowski? He which saved Europe before the communism. Miracle at the Vistula. Paradoxically, he saved also the Weimar Republic. Dmowski had an instinct. He knew to whom distrust.
1. The PiS and LPR (by the way, I like Prof. Maciej Giertych often and mostly) contain all extreme-nationalist Polish prejudices. They even claim Polish immigrants to Berlin are a "Polish minority"- are they going to annex Berlin after the Third World War too?
2. Pilsudski knew he should not allow himself to be compromised by French war mongerers, who wanted to crush Germany and keep the Saarland and all German mines! Dmowski was an extremist. Piłsudski MAYBE was assassinated...?
Piłsudski was an old man being ill on the cancer! It would be magnificently if he never was born . Most sad is that many Poles believe him as hero, but knows nothing about his history. Every country has right to take steps prudences. LPR fights European Union. Because controlled media by this new form USSR, spit at LPR. Germans who living in Poland have minority status national, so suitable privileges. Would be honestly, to repay consequently? You don't know definition of adjective "extreme"!
What Masuria? What Masuria? Perfectly you know that Pomeranian voivodship was at a guess about 25% smaller than Royal Prussia. All round wanted to pluck us. So unremunerative to recover Warmia. Where in the Pomeranian voivodship was the referendum? Even if was, what did they propose as the indemnity for the break of a contract? When you enter into agreement, disengagement only the contracting party. the indemnity. Honesty! The contract is a contract!
The Polish Corridor (Pomeranian Voivodeship) still contained a large German minority. Officially 10.1 %, but this is a clear falsification of 1931 Poles. The real numbers were probably around 35 %, as Danzig, Marienburg (Malbork), and Zoppot were not in it. However, Großendorf, Hela, and entire Kashubian region had German-named Kashubians and pro-German Kashubian associations. Günter Grass' mother was Kashubian (Helene Kroff).
The why this percentage is falsification? We examined, so irrevocably lying? This is prejudice. You did not think that this minority had been irritated "Polnische Wirtschaft"? Poland is not a prison. Everybody have the right to leave and stay out.
The Republic of France was not a nation-state in 1794. It was a multi-nation republic. Poland in 1919 was a self-determination of peoples state. A Wilsonian creation - not a kingdom, only a national concept. It was like Greater Serbia. Do you also think that the Arabs of Morocco can take and annex Al Pujarres and Andalusia from Spain? Those historical claims were made by Polish extremists. Can Muslems take Tours, France? Because Polish imperialists want Berlin and Hambork even! Do you?
You have craze because national states. I didn't ask ethnical composition of France. Never interested me this. What was my question for France? Read over. Exactly read. Doesn't interest me ethnical composition of France! My question refers other theme. Gubernance doesn't create Poland. Create citizens, their progeny & every who identifies. Unimportant, whether kingdom, empire, maharajah, califate or sultanate. Head of state is not all. Poorly I know history of Spain. So I don't say my opinion.
Post-revolutionary France was not erected with a Wilsonian concept of auto-determination of peoples. But 1919-1939 Poland and Czechoslovakia were. Lithuania was. Latvia in 1920 was.
Hang it all! Does not interest me Wilson. How one can so imitate? I asked after France many years before the First World War. So with difficulty this to understand? Understand! France before the First World War. To the deuce with Wilsonem.
What does this song has to do with Gdansk ???

The city's name is thought to originate from the Gdania River, the original name of the Motława branch on which the city is situated. Gdańsk and Gdania are considered to be derivations from the Gothic name of the area (Gutiskandja)

Gdańsk, of course, is historically linked to Germany and Poland. Germany during the war destroyed much of the city, and the Poles themselves all rebuilt. Therefore, the only Polish city. Poles when they want it they can.
Danzig? No - Gdańsk - polish port city
Michalpa93 2 years ago 4
The city was destroyed by the Russians - not during any battle situation, but 2 days after the until 1945 nearly undestroyed town was handed over to the Russian troops.
Strange enough, that the Poles did rebuild the German 15/16th century buildings of the old town, although they represent the German heritage of the town. Also in the years 1454 to 1793 all Polish attempts to conquer the town and fully intergrate it into Poland (i.e. siege of 1577) failed. The city remained fully independant.

Wilson was a one of many gulls who believed that
after the First World War, he would be never wars.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Farms in Poznań? Poznań isnt a village! This is city! The second most important and biggest city in Poland. I never heard about nationalization of "farms in Poznań". But I can into nationalization believe. People wish retaliation. Especially retaliation on colonials. During Prussian occupation, for us this was commonplaceness. You don't like Dmowski? The normalcy. They hate him all for which poor Poland is profitable. Then all they lay in wait for existence of our country.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Farms in Wielkopolska (former Posen Province). Nationalization of German farms in Wielkopolska. These Germans were not colonials. The German landowners of the Deutscher Ostmarkenverein etc. and the Prussian Settlement Commission, were nobility. I mean German, poor, small farmers were nationalized and expelled.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Germans cannot be poor! Germans always were famous for managings. Really I believe in the nationalization of German farmers. But I would not be myself, if I did not demand proofs: Who? How? Where? When? Exactly! Who gave the legal act? Who realized? Who signed the legal act?
AZsaturn 2 years ago
In the former Communist Soviet occupation zone of remnant Germany (GDR, of Honecker), the Germans are still very poor. Do you realize, that German farmers were hard workers - and more disciplined than many Poles. This is a fact. Go and compare the German and Slunsko farms in Oppeln Voivodeship with the Polish-ruled farms in Lower Silesia now. The latter are falling apart. My source is Alfred de Zayas. I do not know Polish minister name. It is a fact though.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
AZsaturn 2 years ago
I know Poland saved Europe in the Battle of Warsaw on August 15, 1920. But it was the icon of Our Lady of Deutsch Piekar (Mary of Piekary Śląskie) which inspired this. The German Freikorps also weakened the Bolsheviks in 1919-1921 Baltic battles. Mostly farms, but also German houses were nationalized and stolen by the Polish authorities. 758.867 Germans were expelled from 1919-1924. 132.644 sq km2 of German farm lands were nationalized. 30 August 1924 Polish Law on Nationalities.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
I did not find nor words about this law. But anyway I believe to you. People after 120 years of the treatment as subpeople on native Wielkopolska surely they did not intend to defend intruders.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
In total, from 1919-1924 from newly refounded Poland 1.4 million Germans were expelled, mostly with force. So stop blaming Germans. From 1939-1944, only 684.589 Polish citizens who were not Wielkopolska natives (but immigrants after 1924 sic!, not after 1919) were resettled in the General-Government of Poland, near Kraków. The Polish government today is claiming, that the Nazis expelled too. This was only done in the Aktion Zamosc - and on a small scale. WIthout state consent. Himmler only
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Why with force? You do not believe in "polnische wirtschaft"? I am touched. Which German does not madden "polnische wirtschaft"? They ran along there, where was not "polnische wirtschaft". Poles love every, who does not bother. Not it is proper to bother. I do not know the culture is preferred in which bothering. 120 years of bothering, are long. Four or five generations. National socialists did not throw out Poles whose the jobs and skills could be useful in place. To blame Martians?
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The Nazis never threw out any native Polish settlers. The Drzywala family was never thrown out of the Warthegau. And the Germans expropriated from 1919-1924 from Posen and West Prussia: they lived there since 1200s already. They were natives. Like Poles in Volhynia were natives too. Germans settled EMPTY and uncultivated uninhabited regions of Wielkopolska. The populations were very small in the Middle Ages, especially before 1250 AD. Do you realize these facts?
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
These insinuations are painful. I know what I speak. When they invaded Gdynia, remained only Poles whose jobs could be useful for the invader. My grandfather and his family obtained permission that to remain, because he was a railwayman. The half of his friends were taken away with freight-cars to General Governor. Second the half to Stuthof. Never "Posen". Never "West Prussia". Disgraceful names.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Gdynia-Gdingen was a Polonization centre. Many Poles brought into the former small village after 1919. So the Germans expelled all who were not pre-1919 natives. Never West Prussia? This is an internationally used description. You can invent whatever you want. Province of Posen and Grand Duchy of Poznan existed.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
The village with the name "Gdina" came into being about late Middle Ages. Was not developed, because was Gdańsk. After the First World War a biggest city of the Pomeranian voivodeship was Puck. Useful as the port for tourists. Useless as the industrial port. In Gdynia one glorifies Kashubians! As on all Pomeranian voivodeship. Perfectly I know that "West Prussia" was an international name. But immoral.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Yes, Gdina is first mentioned in the Late Middle Ages. In 1512, numerous Polish and German Lutherans lived there, alongside Kashubian Catholic fishermen. By 1600, several Catholic Danzig ethnic Germans joined them. A small village. Putzig (Puck) was called Pautzke - and was an original German foundation of the Middle Ages. West Prussia is not insulting, but historical-political. Pomerelia is historical as well. Name "Gdansk" insults Danzig survivors in Germany too!
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Puck practically is not a city. Today about 11.000 inhabitants. Creators the Versailles Treaty scoffed. "Gdańsk" insults? This is not the word invented in XX century! This is the mediaeval name. Equivalent with "Danzig". Anyway "Gnesen", "West Prussia", "Posen", "Litzmanstadt" or "Gotenhafen" does not insult me. The usage of these names is only disgusting. The abomination, repellent, horrid, repulsive, ugly... The invader dictates the nomenclature to its own victims.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
In Middle Ages Gdańsk had several names. I never insinuated that it is the name invented by national socialists or Prussians! Oldest supplied documentary evidence is "Gyddanyzc". Very possible that first settlers were Goths several hundred years earlier. Other names in history: "Kdansk", "Gdanzc", "Dantzk", "Dantzig", "Dantzigk", "Danzig", "Dantiscum", "Dantzick" and "Gedanum". "GD" in languages of old Slavs to mean waterlogged areas. The name reminds also Danish language.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Okay, then we agree. I do not think Danish settlement can be proved. The Danes settled on the Slavic pagan villages on the island of Rügen from their island of Bornholm. Nevertheless, Paris was once Celtic, but not part of Brittanny (Bretagne) ore Ireland right now. It became Romano-Frankish, and new French. Like Danzig became German-ethnic.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Perhaps once archaeologists will prove, who first founded the city. He will be with difficulty. The finish of Vistula and Gdańsk Bay is a very attractive place. Anybody founded the city, was not a first inhabitant of this ground. But for me this is only a curiosity. The following chapter of history allocable in the blank paper. There interests me the only saint rule: "Pacta sunt servanda".
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The argument that Gdańsk founded Danes is my private. Research workers rather not so do not speak. I biased with the nomenclature: In Danish language the substantive "Dansk" is meaning just Danish language. The interested coincidence? Old Slavs added "GD" qualifying every waterlogged areas. When the city is situated on the very important trade route junctive the inland navigation and of sea, Danish traces are not unusual.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
LuzatyMir- St Aldalbert first brought Gospel to Kaszuby in Gdanyzc in 10th Century. He was a Slav- his real name was Vojtech (Wojcieh). He was martyred by a raiding party of Old Prussians (Some accounts say he got into an argument with Kazuby). Allenstein/Olyztn is neither Polish or German but from Old Prussian Ale.-
IanHunedoara8 2 years ago
In XIII century he already existed the census? Super. Really I believe that a lot Germans went to Germany little after the First World War. But whether to believe in so terrible constraint? I will keep the prudent. From here conclusion that "Königlich Preußische Ansiedlungskommission in den Provinzen Westpreußen und Posen" was absolutely superfluous? Why have I them to regret? What did they make, to hold back Prussian scurvy tricks? As good neighbours.

OldWaysFollower 3 years ago
The Jews from Danzig mostly could leave the city via Poland and via Mussolini's Fascist Italy, and fled to Portugal, neutral Franco's Spain, or to the United States. Of course Nazi racist policies existed. There were no more than 2.7 % Poles in Danzig, almost all installed by the Polish government in 1920 for the "Free City" under Polish domination. The Slavic Kashubians like Günter Grass' mother Helene Kroff, all felt like German citizens. Of course it was multi-ethnic. Not under PL occupation

This comment has received too many negative votes show
1.9 Million ethnic Germans were murdered inside what is now "modern Poland's territories", by various methods, in camps etc. or by brutal massacres and actions. But this fact is never spoken about. It is alleged only Germans were criminals.
IustitiaPax 3 years ago
have you ever heard about Katyń ?? check this out and next time think a bit(thinkig doesnt cost and doesnt hurt) if you want me suggest we(all polish nation)collaborated with soviets... i heard about traitors like bolesław bierut,władysław gomułka or wanda wasilewska.
loque3 3 years ago 2
The Polish eastern legions fought side by side with the Soviet Red Army. They plundered Berlin and maybe also raped German women alongside the Russian and other Bolshevik soldiers? I know about Katýn. But Katýn was not decreed by Hitler or "the" Germans. You can call the communist Poles traitors, but still those Polish "traitors" gained you Silesia and other German east provinces. And Poles continue to inhabit them since 1946. Even today they remain. So? You accept criminality thereby.
IustitiaPax 3 years ago
yep they also fought side by side with british, french, americans... but unfortunately you dont know even why... i also see i know nothing about Katan, excluding that is wasnt decreed by hitler. your history knowledge is based on speculations "They plundered Berlin and maybe also raped German" and maybe they also attacked germany september 1st 1939 hm ?? i will be grateful if you send something about "polish-soviet camps" cuz i found nothing on internet
loque3 3 years ago 2
Poles attacked ethnic Germans in Bromberg during the entire summer of 1939. As to the Polish concentration camps for Germans from Schlesien-Silesia: seek Lamsdorf and the name of Alfred de Zayas on the "Vertreibung" (Expulsion). There is plenty on the internet. Although of course censored.
IustitiaPax 3 years ago
so what russians did in Lamsdorf which used to belong to Germany >?? how poles and russians were murdering germans hm ?? another thing. if we were such a good collaborators with russians why they were fucking our asses 45 years after war ?? and the last thing. you believe that Gleiwitz incident was really prepared by polish ? dont you ??
loque3 3 years ago
How u can be such an ignorant? Is it just stupidity or something wrong with your brain? Ribbentrop - Molotov pact, Lebensraum policy - was it invented in Poland?? on 1.09.1939 Germany attacked Poland after a good solid preparation, Anschlus of Chechoslovakia and silly demands for "exteritorial corridors" across Poland. As well its worth to mention - that nobody made such well organised concentration camps than your ancestors, so just shut up and dont start with those idiotic ideas.
5084204 3 years ago
The Poles in the 1930s (Nacional Democracija) had their own Pan-Slavic and Pan-Polish ideals to steal eastern Germany (incl. Danzig) from the self-determined German People. They did so in Upper Silesia (Oberschlesien) in 1921 already under Korfanty terrorists. Yes, the Molotov-Ribbentrop plan was criminal. So was the Bierut decrees, the Benes decrees, all planned before 1939 as anti-German policy already. Only implemented after the war in PL and CZ, criminal states like Stalin USSR.
IustitiaPax 3 years ago 2
You are like Jehova Witness - choosing only whats suits you. Silesians they had a free voting - and they choose to join to Poland. III Reich was prepering itself for conquer of all Europe - all nazi economy was made for only one purpose - war. Polish Panslavic ideas? That country didnt exist for over 120 years (before IWW) they had to improve a lot to become independent. Och - one more thing check the non agression treaty that was _cancelled by Germans_ just before IIWW. Bierut was communistic
5084204 3 years ago 2
.. idiot, who could burn his own country in his servilism towards russians.

Not true. Again Günter Schubert "Bromberg Bloody Sunday Plan - Death of the Legend".
zyguli 2 years ago
This is a book only for political purposes, not true history. Alfred de Zayas documented Polish attacks and murders. I heard it from German Franciscan priests OFM from Kutno. I know everything. You are an anti-German hate sower, who wants to murder all Germans. The Soviets did not kill all eastern Germans or make all flee. Millions stayed - and Poles expelled and killed these German women and children. In Poland in peace time, German civilians were killed. Nazis killed mostly Resistance men only
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
@IustitiaPax
Nice that you returned. Without you is boredom.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
It would be nice, if you'd take some extra English courses. 32.5 % of Germans voted NSDAP in 1932, March. In Nov. 1932 only 29.6 %. Highest votes of the NSDAP: in Masuria by the Polish-speaking Lutheran Masurians of Lyck, Johannisburg and other districts. Your Slavic Polish brethren. And in Schleswig (district Dithmarschen, 65 %). In Masurian lands up to 70 %. History is complex. And Polish chauvinist and Soviet and Allied propaganda will be refuted these coming years.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Poles on Masuria? If you did not know that the plebiscite in East Prussia had been for us a defeat. But nice that exceptionally you began to give some numbers. NSDAP surely pretty well won elections to Volkstag of the Free City.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The Polish nationalists of Gomulka claimed Masurians as Poles in 1950s propaganda. But Masurians spoke Polish dialect, were lutherans, pro-German, and voted NSDAP more than Munich, Regensburg, Münster and other western German cities. In Danzig the Nazis were large only due to the detachment from Germany. In the Ermland ("Warmia"), only 24 % NSDAP in 1932. In Dithmarschen 67 %.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Communist. Gomułka was communist. Communists are internationalists. The puppet of Stalin. One can say that the governor of the colony of USSR.
Do you know why the coat of arms of Gdańsk contain crown?
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
1.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
2.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Jesus Chris. So if anybody will steal your car, at once stops to be your property? You promote unimaginable fads. In 1772 we didn't sell or we did not present Royal Prussia. Prussians were thieves. They robbed also Austrians. Silesia is Austrian. Gentleman value disloyalty? Excuse me. Contract which we contracted with Teutonic Knights didn't foresee theft of Gdańsk Pomerania. Only christianization of Old Prussians.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
After recovery of Gdańsk Pomerania , generously, rest of state of Teutonic Order became our fief. This contract also they broke. Again they stole Gdańsk Pomerania. In 1934 we contracted non-agression pact. The world didn't see bigger liars and thieves than Prussians. The disgraceful method whose used Prussians to obtain Gdańsk Pomerania is disqualifying.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
If Silesia is Austrian, then you should give it back to them, shouldn't you. Be sure to ethnically cleanse all the Poles from it first. According to your logic, this is the right thing to do to make up for past wrongs, isn't it?
Kukapetal 2 years ago
I said that Silesia is Austrian, to show to you that the most of grounds of the Kingdom of Prussia obtained using the aggressive war. I not will count as many contracts were broken by Prussians. Among other things Pragmatic sanction. They acknowledged the indivisibility of Austria. And what? Cheats!! I like to show the double-dealing. NPD calls me a "thief". Demanding the turn of Silesia for Germany, instead of Austria.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Prussia as a kingdom ceased existing in 1918. From 1870, it was German state authority which was central authority over Prussian territories. So stop about Prussia. You have an anti-Prussian and anti_German paranoia. If you give back Silesia to Austria, it is fine for me too. As long as German ethnic culture and history are recognized and restored. I want the Akcja Wisla Ukrainian victims to stay there. They are innocent, many live near Glatz/Klodzko. Good people. Not anti-German fanatics!!!
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
1.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
AZsaturn 2 years ago
I state that the German Empire of 1870 was a nation-state of German self-determination. The 2nd Polish Republic of 1919 claimed Upper Silesia because of ethnic reasons. Like Masuria. The populations voted for Germany though. Remember that. Poland made ethnic claims, not pre-1795 Polish-Lithuanian royal claims. Pilsudski was a president, not a King. Yes, I meant 1466. I know the correct date, but I sent it already.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Piłsudski was a dictator. He never was a president. Yes. Silesia was not a part of Commonwealth before partitions. But remember that Pomeranian voivodship and Wielkopolska were approximately about 25% smaller than Royal Prussia and Wielkopolska during Commonwealth. So anyway Weimar Republic kept a good bit of their booties. Autonomous Silesian voivodship was not so large, to fulfilment.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
P. Kolbe Maksymilian too
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Contract is contract.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Remember that Royal Prussia and we contracted contract. Gdańsk was awarded a prize very much for faithfulness against Teutonic Order. They got autonomy, right to production coins, low taxes & controlled trade. This was shocking motion, because only kings could produce coins. Then COA contained only 2 white crosses. King added crown to COA. Symbol of codivision of authority over kingdom. At that time this was shocking motion. What did it get Poland? The free trade route on all Vistula.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Pacta sunt servanda. The oldest legal rule.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Do you think we Dutch now think we can occupy Ceuta in North Africa, or Cuba, because we held parts of it before, and because 16th century king Philip II was wrong in some things. Stop kidding me.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
My knowledge about history of Holland is poor. But the oversea colony and the proper state? In the native position? To compare? But I have a certainty that these regions deteriorated, when Holland away. Local cannot proceed economically. They swore an oath? If so, the contract is a contract.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
This is the all problem? The head of state didn't have the surname Wettin. If he possessed such surname, then there would be no problem? Your respect to the democracy is selective. Because you do not respect the choice of Lithuanians. But "Danzigers" yes. But we are descendants of citizens of the king of Commonwealth. We always were proud that Poland had 1043 old. From you shocking conclusions. Thanks to you, I felt again young.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Of course, 95 % of Danzig wanted to belong to Germany. It is not about the head of state being Wettin (Albertine). Not at all. I respect Polish szlachta very much. You, the Polish nation, are not the kings of Poland-Lithuania. Polish people is a self-governing people. Not a restoration of the Monarchy and Commonwealth. You can do that. And then you can even have Danzig, Bomst, Unruhstadt/Kargowa, all you want. Even Polish royal houses in Westphalia. Only then. Multi-ethnic.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
So Poland is not a successor of Poland? France during XIX century many times changed the gubernance. The empires, the kingdoms and the republics. None of them is a successor of the previous version? The big. Self-evident that citizens were the same people as in earlier France and their kids. I never would say that present Tunisia is a successor of Carthage, because citizens are completely other people, than then.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The nation-state of the Republic of Poland was a presidential system and declared as the state for the Polish people. Not as restoration of the Polish Kingdom or the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. What you say is nonsense. The Republic of Germany is not the successor to the Holy Roman Empire either. Northern Italy and Milan are not part of Germany - because of self-determination of peoples (Wilson concept). This made possible new foundation of republican Poland 1919.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Naturally the French republic is not a French monarchy. But France is France. Still the same language, the culture and progeny of earlier the French people. Second Republic of Poland wasn't a national state. I will say more: The biggest percentage of Jews in Europe. Here they feels most safely. We are descendants of citizens of Commonwealth. We speak with such itself language. And we cannot account themselves as the successor? You didn't answer a question concerning of France during XIX century!
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The French monarchy had the Breton people, the Basque people, Italians in Nice (Nizza) and Corsica. Of course the French Republic took over the monarchy in a strict sense - but it was not the monarchy. And the Republic did not accord language rights. The Kings of France only francophonized in French Flanders, to minimize the Dutch language. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth did not produce the nation-state of Poland, a creation of Versailles. Regency Kingdom stopped in 1918.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The French speaking who lived in the Spanish and Austrian Netherlands (Walloon) were French ethnic persons, but not citizens of France. The French Monarchy also lost Québec - ethnic French. Poland in 1919 was not a revival of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, but a creation of Wilsonian "self determination" of peoples - used of course only against Germans. Czechoslovakia was not a revival of the Greater Moravian kingdom of the 9th century either!
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Your private scholastic opinion about 1000 of summer-history of people. 1000 years old culture appeared astrally after 1918. Poorly I know history of Czech. You forgot that near border between Germany & Denmark had happened plebiscite. South stayed in Germany, and north wanted Denmark. Strange that you forget so interested facts. Doesn't interest me which grounds were wasted by France. I asked whether every gubernance of France during XIX century is a successor of previous political system.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
I know of the 1000 year old culture of Poland. This culture however lived in symbiosis with German culture - whence Poland was missionzied. The Czechs are lived in symbiosis with German culture and the German Church. The Schleswig plebiscite was never put into question by Hitler. He recognized it. But in Upper Silesia, Poland took land despite defeat in referendum. In West Prussia and Masuria: between 70 and 97 % for Germany. Facts.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The Polish nation as such was not developped fully however until 1335. You cannot claim Czechs in the Boleslaw I Chobry multi-national multi-nobility alliance were all "Poles", or that Sorbians are Poles, or that the Germans in the monasteries and villages of Lower Silesia and Pomerania by 981 were "all Poles". Polish statehood is 1000 year old, and Polish noble culture. Did you think I hate Polish culture? I fight for historical truth - not against Polish history or people.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Very well that you stick out for the historical truth. The honesty is separate. You nothing pardon to us. But to Prussians you pardon all. Prussian matters above all. Our matters also! If this matters aren't contradictory with Prussian matters. Disgusting is the argument that the Hakata was legal! The argument that we wanted to conquer Mecklenburg or something near this place, is so funny, till I have not the power to be irritated .
AZsaturn 2 years ago
I of course forgive the Polish people. If you would know me, you'd know that I condemn Józef Beck, Churchill and Marshall Rydz-Smigly, and Roman Dmowski and Adalbert von Winkler and Korfanty, but not Pilsudski, not Jan III Sobieski, not present Polish people. Polish people were guilty, but also victims. Like German people were sometimes guilty, sometimes victims in WW2. It is complicated. I condemn Kulturkampf, but I do not hate all Prussia for that. "HaKaTa" was legal, of course & unsuccesful
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Condemn Beck because wasn't humble calf. Shame to which didn't fall on knees before fuhrer. He would melt . Increasingly would require not awaiting murmurs. Piłsudski was socialist & guilty of weakness of our army. With booster of tenet of XIX century. Dmowski was true patriots. Because political correctness media spit at Dmowski % glorify Piłsudski. Piłsudski didn't interest Wielkopolska. You should condemn also Anthony Abraham. Nothing complicated. You despise with saint right to defence.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Józef Beck was a clever diplomat, a snake. He once was friends with Hermann Goering (their wives were friends too). Pilsudski was a social-democrat and patriot - not a Dmowski anti-German extreme nationalist. 1935 death of Pilsudski is mysterious.
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Even if Piłsudski was a patriot, was also an idiot. Hereject an interested offers to buy of the modern weapon from France. Dmowski would refuse nothing. The death Piłsudskiego is mysterious?? HAHAHAHA. Very late. Interested whether is mysterious the death of the outstanding general Tadeusz Rozwadowski? He which saved Europe before the communism. Miracle at the Vistula. Paradoxically, he saved also the Weimar Republic. Dmowski had an instinct. He knew to whom distrust.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
Piłsudski was an old man being ill on the cancer! It would be magnificently if he never was born . Most sad is that many Poles believe him as hero, but knows nothing about his history. Every country has right to take steps prudences. LPR fights European Union. Because controlled media by this new form USSR, spit at LPR. Germans who living in Poland have minority status national, so suitable privileges. Would be honestly, to repay consequently? You don't know definition of adjective "extreme"!
AZsaturn 2 years ago
What Masuria? What Masuria? Perfectly you know that Pomeranian voivodship was at a guess about 25% smaller than Royal Prussia. All round wanted to pluck us. So unremunerative to recover Warmia. Where in the Pomeranian voivodship was the referendum? Even if was, what did they propose as the indemnity for the break of a contract? When you enter into agreement, disengagement only the contracting party. the indemnity. Honesty! The contract is a contract!
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The Polish Corridor (Pomeranian Voivodeship) still contained a large German minority. Officially 10.1 %, but this is a clear falsification of 1931 Poles. The real numbers were probably around 35 %, as Danzig, Marienburg (Malbork), and Zoppot were not in it. However, Großendorf, Hela, and entire Kashubian region had German-named Kashubians and pro-German Kashubian associations. Günter Grass' mother was Kashubian (Helene Kroff).
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
The why this percentage is falsification? We examined, so irrevocably lying? This is prejudice. You did not think that this minority had been irritated "Polnische Wirtschaft"? Poland is not a prison. Everybody have the right to leave and stay out.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
The Republic of France was not a nation-state in 1794. It was a multi-nation republic. Poland in 1919 was a self-determination of peoples state. A Wilsonian creation - not a kingdom, only a national concept. It was like Greater Serbia. Do you also think that the Arabs of Morocco can take and annex Al Pujarres and Andalusia from Spain? Those historical claims were made by Polish extremists. Can Muslems take Tours, France? Because Polish imperialists want Berlin and Hambork even! Do you?
IustitiaPax 2 years ago
You have craze because national states. I didn't ask ethnical composition of France. Never interested me this. What was my question for France? Read over. Exactly read. Doesn't interest me ethnical composition of France! My question refers other theme. Gubernance doesn't create Poland. Create citizens, their progeny & every who identifies. Unimportant, whether kingdom, empire, maharajah, califate or sultanate. Head of state is not all. Poorly I know history of Spain. So I don't say my opinion.
AZsaturn 2 years ago
Post-revolutionary France was not erected with a Wilsonian concept of auto-determination of peoples. But 1919-1939 Poland and Czechoslovakia were. Lithuania was. Latvia in 1920 was.
