man, photographers these days think way too much about gear and money. if you want to worry about something worry about this: right now thousands of people are taking better pictures than you with the same equipment you have.

Renting equipment by the day is common practice among pro photographers. As is billing rentals back to the client, often even for equipment you own (renting it to yourself)--this is how it gets paid for.

It was meant to be encouraging to photographers who may never try to make photos like this because they believe it's impossible without a trust-fund. That's why it matters.

WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHERE THE EQUIPMENT CAME FROM? Maybe she owns it, maybe it is on loan, maybe she rents it! DOES NOT MATTER, bottom line is she makes images that 98% of photographers in the world can not! Look at her work, it speaks for itself.

Most of it is likely rented for the day, so only a couple grand in overhead and BILLED TO THE CLIENT.
