it was an inspiring video but viewers would lose interest if you leave out information. when adam set the stone in the bezel, there was no explanation of the tool he used; he just pointed it and there was a "click" sound. your Episode 3 is so far the best- keep up the good work!
Hey, check it out - We listen to viewers' comments! We're going to re-demo and go over the stone-setting process in our upcoming videos, so hopefully we can clarify it!
what kind of metal were you using that you could trim it that easy? Either way, I'm super excited for more episodes, mostly cause I'm taking an art metals class in school so yay crazy awesome timing!
Hi! The metal we used sterling and can be bought in very thin sheets. Email us at metalchik for more detailed info. I am always happy to help an arty type! Thanks for the comment!
The rings are good, kinda bulky though, not reall an up for me...though..I..don't wear rings. I see the point of MetalChik, nice idea and all. Buuuuut jewelry? Kinda a sexist statement here, but, what girl would have a soder or most items used in this video?
like she says... not so diy... I like the stuff , but whoa, jump into the heart of it on the first video with no intro lessons? Maybe starting with simple basics would help? I assume that if someone already has welding tools, cutters, silver supplies they would know how to do what you show?.. Does the silver just melt together? What is that flame torch? Same kind my dad used for pipes? Maybe the video intention was for experienced jewelry people and not noobs, and if it was then never mind me...
where did you get the metal band
