  • Have you done any sock tutorials with the color coded looms???

  • haha now reading some other posts I wasn't the only one who thought of nail polish! That is crazy. I thought I was being all original....I also glued my pegs into my looms from Walmart because they were all falling out. Now I see why they probably wanted them loose. I thought this is crazy. They shouldn't fall out like this!

  • I use dots of nail polish where I am supposed to purl. On the rim right below the pegs. When I am done with that project I use some nail polish to remove the dots and can start on the next project. I use a clear but colored nail polish (Cherry Fizz by Revlon- doesn't look good ON my actual nails so voila) so it does come off easily, but is easily seen when knitting....just a thought!

  • omg! what a great idea. I hate having to write numbers on my looms or hang markers from the pegs. you are a genious! (=

  • what a great idea so simple a solution .... thanks Michael

  • Hi, I like your videos. I have a question. I am making preemie baby hats with the blue circular loom, a 5 inch loom. I noticed that there is a smaller orange one that can be purchased from provocraft for making flowers. Do you know what size this smaller one is? I think it may be appropriate for very tiny preemie hats but it doesn't mention the size. Thanks, Mikey.

  • 0:03 IT'S COMING RIGHT AT MY FACE AHHHHHGHGHGHGH

  • Brilliant!

  • Wouldn't it have been easier to use nail polish?? Less work, same idea.... no??

  • @puppieandkitten A couple of the vendors from overseas, naturally took longer on avg. about 20 days, but it was worth it for the deal. But.. the ones here in the states some of them were shockingly fast, I got one order in 2 days!! I would be happy to give you some of their store names in a PM if you want. Just a note about the China suppliers, they rate their yarn bigger than we do, so if you see worsted wt, its usually a sport for us, or fingering wt. was really about # 5 thread.

  • Awesome idea!

  • Good tip. I had to glue tips back into some of my looms, but would have never thought of intermixing them. What I did was to paint the pegs with fingernail polish

Keep up th good work and thank you for all of your hard work

  • Hiya, just thought I would share with you, since we crafters are all in the same boat these days, trying to scrape up a few extra dollars to buy our materials, is getting tougher everyday. I was curious about finding bulk yarn online, and started at the mecca of cheap, ebay, and was so pleasantly pleased to find that there are indeed some amazing deals there on yarn, I bought $50 worth of cotton yarn for 18.90! Take a look see when you get a chance, I know I saw some good wool prices too.

  • Great idea!

  • Yeah! I would have loved that idea when I made my socks about a year ago from your tutorials! It was very frustrating and cumbersome to try to figit with a loose piece of yarn flapping around! Keep up the great work Mikey!

  • This is a great idea. My son is helping me with the socks for xmas gift. This would work great for him.

  • No wonder my pegs came loose thanks Mikey
