If you try to kick a ball from 1997 in your style, belive me, it doesn't work! With the new plastic balls it works. Mate.. I think you have no Idea about Football! It is also about the ball and not always about how you kick the ball. That goal against France was scored in 1997 in a friendly match and back then there were other balls than nowadays. On top of that, he kicked the ball with his last 3 fingers. Back then the balls were a little bit heavyer and the material was mostly leather. Nowadays for manufacturing the balls they use more plastic if I may say so and they are light and they fly just like a fly
