i am so glad i dont live in the uk. i live in america land of the free and home of the brave were i can legally carry a knife and i dont need a stupied reason why to carry it. i carry a 10 inch italion switchblade knife and its legal in the state i live and i use it as a tool not a weapon but i would if my live were in danger and it would be my right to self-defence u brits may think im a criminal but i dont care i say god bless america fuck u to all stupied shit head liberals in the uk
As much as we protest about knife crime, it is still happening on our streets. last week in Islington a man was stabbed four times in front of his daughter and partner, he nor the perpetrator were what we can call children, have we lost any sense of reality. many of our youth carry knifes to defend themselves which is wrong as it creates a vicious circle. We need to educate our youth from a very early age not only at school but in the home
this event was no more than the family of kinsella needing to express a need of doing something about their son's loss. Having said that it was in no way effective, the whole raise awareness thing is crap, NOBODY is not aware of knife murders, we're bombarded with this stuff all the time by the media, who is not aware?? WHO'S AWARENESS ARE WE TRYING TO RAISE? The only way knife murders will ever fall (NOT STOP: murders are inevitable) is when everybody shuts up about them and get on with it.
maybe firstly you should show some respect then secondly you should get your fact right .I took it upon myself to film this march not only for the kinsellas but for every family that have had to endure the pain and heartache of losing a loved one in such a pointless act of violence, and what do you think people should do just sit back and say nothing while our children are being murdered by these monsters, ignorence is a very dangerous thing in the wrong hands.
What do you possibly think you could do? I love the way you say "Our children", like 25 teenagers are killed YEARLY in a city populated with millions of people. That's one in every 30,000 teenagers murdered a YEAR. Don't blow it out of proportion. There will always be murders. And do you have a big plan than Mr. Know-how? Since you're so sure you know there's a solution, cause so far the government policies have been useless. USELESS.
@laswap1 No this was nothing to do with the Kinsella family!!!! yes they attended the march and rally along with all the other families affected by this crime. It was organized by myself Gemma Alway! and 5 other people that had NOT been affected by this crime.
I guess your views will only be changed when it happens to you!!!!
Wow, that day of anti knife campaigning looks like it was amazing!!!I am very very VERY peeved off with myself that I did not come to the march!I did not come cos I felt that I would be intruding cos no one i know has been murdered in this way! although I AM sickened by it, and was hurt and cried about what happened to Ben Kinsella!.When is the next one? I want to come and show my support. I wish I had come to this 1, but LET ME, come to the next one!I want to raise my voice, Im sick of BULLIES!
i told you that you would not be intruding :) its for anybody who is fed up of things like this happening!
if you have facebook theres a few groups based on it,so join if you have an account, the more te better, everybody is adding everybody now,its united people together
Good video and march. The media is certainly part of the problem, only focusing on bad news instead of showing positive efforts to try and bring about change.
Sadly bad rolemodel celebs always grab the headlines instead of the people who really matter and their actions. Such efforts to bring about an end to knife and violent crime in the capital should be linked with the London Olympics to help get more media attention and make it possible for a safe games to be delivered
instead of showing support to those victims lost, the newspapers decided to talk more about george micheal being caught with drugs-again like we havnt heard about it before, theres more important thins going on than famous people harming their own bodies even boris johnson decided to attend the cycling instead of a march held in memory of those CHILDREN who have lost their lives, how pathetic.its not just the killers with blood on their hands the government have too
i read the sunday papers and i read the daily papers daily mirror where were you no front page we phoned the mirror and was told it wasn't important enough to reach the front pages shame on all the tabloids that are supposed to help all the're interested in is money not lives. where were all our politicians at this event all we got were videos shame on you shame you all
it was a great day there should have a lot more people there to give there support but the sun shone and hopefully we got our point across sad that a cycling race was more important than all those kids that have lost there lives through violence our mayor should be ashamed of himself he should have been there marching alongside everyone thank you everyone that turned up for the march you should all be very proud of yourselves.
