Good stuff, I had to download it to watch with VLC because the sound was so low, and in VLC I could pump up the volume a bit. Gonna go watch KOMA now, never saw it.
yes, i mean japan tv version... it was very long movie. The US Grudge1, and 2, is in the original japanese vesion.BTW the ringu 0- is the normali japan Ringu? or this somekind of ringu origins. That was like a horroristic love story, whit some actress girl who fall in love an actor. So this is that Ringu what you review in this video??:)
Good reviews, and nice story boards. If i do not saw those movies i wana watch they!I like asian horrors , but there is something slow in these films. So when i want to watch some, i need to get somekind of power to sit , and watch the almost silent film, whit maximum 3 diferent character. But hte storys are usually great, and the fear factor is on high lvl.My first asian horror film (and i like it very mutch) it was a ; Grudge (original)
@KRRRX01 Thanks! I adore the Grudge! It totally scared the crap out of me. I'm assuming when you say the original you're talking about the "made-for-tv" that went straight to video in Japan. Those were excellent, despite the small budgets and substandard effects. Very hard to find but worth the effort. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
I don't know if it has already been written by others but the audio in that room doesn't seem to be the best. That said awesome video! After the "Tale of two sisters" video I kinda wished for more asian horror goodness and this is far more that I wished for, haha. I hope along the way we get to see "Dark Water"; it was directed by Hideo Nakata and I liked it even more than "The ring".
@Sagentemus The sound was probably a result of the camera being waaaaay back from us and the music being too loud. Thanks for pointing it out, we'll try to correct it on the next vid. Don't worry Dark Water will be talked about! It is one of our eternal favourites! Thanks for watching and commenting!
I enjoyed the interaction between the two of you and how you shared your opinion on each of the movies. If I may make one suggestion: It would be nice to see a few clips from each of the movies as you discussed each of the movies. Thanks for the recommendations. I will definitely be checking out each of these movies!
@segagenesis1989 *facepalm* DOH! I meant to add trailer links in the description box!!! lol I KNEW I was forgetting something. Thanks for watching, commenting and making the helpful suggestion!
Hi! It was a real pleasure! I like the way how you choose your movies! And I love to hear your opinions to those movies, I also like asian horrormovies! Cant wait for the next clip! You two are just great! I envy you Meg because you got an awesome dad! XD
@BigBigBonze Thanks. I'm glad you're enjoying it. We're enjoying doing these episodes and can't wait to do the next one. And if I could still blush at 53, I would be right now! lol
You and Meg are both very awesome! I really enjoyed this joint review as I said to you on twitter! I also love the collection by the way as I said in twitter as well! Awesome work!
Great video on a topic I have almost no knowledge, but thoroughly enjoyed hearing both of your opinions due mainly to your endearing passion for the topic. Great stuff. Having said that and unrelated, watching this has helped me overcome writers block in finding the "voice" for a father daughter duo in a piece I'm working on... so thanks lol.
@John1Cage Glad you liked it and pleased to hear that (indirectly) we helped you to smash that "block." Thanks for watching and commenting. Rock on with that piece you''re doing btw!
Like: Simon & Garfunkel, Lennon/McCartney, Sylvester & Tweetie Pie, Bill & Ted, Wayne & Garth, Tango and Cash (OK, probably not the last one), you guys kick some major bootay together. I don't mind the long length of the format, especially if it allows you guys to say what you want to and (above all) need to say about the films. Nice nice nice start to what hopefully will be a long-running series of videos.
@ianwilson1978 Thanks Ian. Yeah dude ya gotta watch Asian horror, it definitely has an edge to it. Although Asian cinema has a lot going for it full stop! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thing's that move that look disjointed Scares the living crap out of me.......most likely the reason that i can never finish watching the ring or the Grudge, and i really do hope you make more of these kind of vids :D
@Metalgearfreak0906 I know what you mean! The House on Haunted Hill freaked me out as well! Glad you like the vid and hopefully we will be making many more...but not as loooong! lol Thanks for watching and commenting!!
"She's got something wrong with her ass!' LMFAO, I LOL'D..I love when you guys make videos together! I totally need to watch some asian horror movies! :D
Great "FatheranddoughterdiscussionaboutAsianhorrorcollections". Asians are really creative, and this is the reason why ,usually, other countries make remakes of their movies, and not the opposite (I haven't seen any Asian Harry Potter films!) XD
@vleinad12 Thanks for the positive feedback! I agree on the creativity factor apparent in Asian films. Alas the re-make train has steamed into Japan. They've remade Ghost (the Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore film) and are in the process of re-making Pretty Woman. The re-make train is gathering steam and coming into a station near you. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Renal failure or kidney failure (formerly called renal insufficiency) describes a medical condition in which the kidneys fail to adequately filter toxins and waste products from the blood. The two forms are acute (acute kidney injury) and chronic (chronic kidney disease); a number of other diseases or health problems may cause either form of renal failure to occur.
awesome review, i dig this video do more like these. very fun and playful how you just randomly picked up ones from a bag. Will have to netflix Koma definitely
@henryblazer20 Glad you liked it! We had fun doing it. We're going to do more, but, the new ones won't be soooo long and will have better camera work and lighting (hopefully).
@henryblazer20 Hi Henry! the Arkansas Apple Festival used to be in Lincoln, Arkansas. The T-shirt is about 22 years old! Sadly I don't think they do it any longer, or if they do it's not the same as it used to be. I did ask my folks when we visited, but I can't remember if it's still going or not.
