I was also born in September but this song is very sentimental to me and one of the songs that makes me wish I could go back in time even if things might not have been so great. Really? I think they had the coolest equipment imaginable back then. Big huge tube microphones. Everything was enormous with vacuum tubes and warm sounding and recorded onto huge 2 inch analog tape. . There wasn't nice affordable home recording gear available back then probably though.

Somehow this month seems to have certain mystic and poetic characteristics related to the Summertime that bring back memories of our past when most TVs were B&W and no cell phs nor TV cable.
