A few days ago EA officially confirmed the making of a KOTOR MMO. These shots are all from the old KOTOR games, tho. Its just a small expression of my happyness about the news. :)

@SamaelSith The entire music is Throne Room and Finale from Episode IV. I am not sure if this is the movie version or from some Film music compilation, the theme woven into the latter part is the Skywalker theme I think, but the music is one file. Hope this helps. ^^

The actual sith race is long dead these ones coming back are the sith empire that escaped after the great hyperspace war and are know returning to attacking the republic 1300 years later the ones revan sought to find.

Just a little fact here; but BioWare has never made a shitty game. KOTOR2 was still good but it was made by Obsidian. They've started TOR in 2005, and revealed it in 2008. The plotlines, ideas, stories, etc have already been thought out years ago. And EA is only financing TOR, BioWare is developing it. Just because SWG was terrible doesn't mean TOR will be.
That its true, but the simple fact is that they ruined something special. Bioware was in the process of Kotor 3, but when EA Games bought the company they wouldn't finance it and scrapped the idea. It's not that Tor will be bad, it's that people were waiting years for Kotor 3 and it was sure to be a huge seller, but instead they pulled BIoware in a different direction that obviously won't sell nearly as much as Kotor 3 would have.
I'm not sure BioWare was totally against the idea of an MMO. They sounded really excited when they announced it, and it didn't feel like EA had their boot on BioWare.

People, this isn't Kotor 3. The plot will have little to do with Kotor 1 and 2, as it takes place about 300 years after Kotor 2, I think. Revan, the exile, and everyone is dead, though Odds are HK-47 is still around... T3-M4 as well.
no, TOR is set about 300 years after the KOTOR II game. i'm not sure, but i'm almost certain(don't know the number of years exactly). and you'll know what happened to revan. at least its what i heard and read about the game. but do a quick research.
Don't see what all the big fuss is about, if this becomes a MMO try it out before judging it, to be honest I think it'll be great playing with people across the world, although if it did come out for 360/PS3 they should make a great online play :)

Actully offical Cannon makes her a lightsider since the starforge was destroyed and bastila was redeemed in cannon im not 100% on this but i think so.
Canon makes "him" a lightsider but Kotor 2 makes him a little different,... hes so much powerful man that he can hold teachings of jedi and sith together,... it cannot be desribe by one word jedi or sith, lightsider darksider,... He is simply Revan :)

In KOTOR 2 if you ask keria about revan and you have enough infuenlse she says that revan is a she EVEN if you say that its a male at start which has been comfirmed as true.
Revan is canonically Male. Wookiepedia will confirm that for you if necessary. The Dialogue with Atton on Peragus about Revan officially sets Revan's Gender and Force Alignment but the True Revan is still Male. I've never experienced that with Kreia and yes I have maxed out my Influence.
Its nonsence,... Kreia speaks about Revan as about gender which u chose,... after all authors had to determinate gender of revan and exile,... conclusion: Revan is canoncially male and Exile is canoncially female :)
@Skarisdt That's assuming that Revan was on the Dark Side which isn't Canon as of yet. Though I have also entertained the exact same thought and several similar ones. So the idea is for one to use a Dark Sided Power doesn't imply that one has to be on the Dark Side. ;)
one who may use dark side powers may not indeed be fully engulfed in the dark side...but the use of the force is rooted straight from ones own emotions. that is why the council strictly forbid use of the dark side.
Well, that and because use of the Dark Side is what ultimately caused the Great Schisms and the Hundred Year Darkness, pinning Master against Apprentice and testing the emotional limits of both sides in the process. ;)

The MMO is set 300 years after the KOTOR and TSL so nothing has been confirmed yet. Revan could be the True Sith Emperor for all we know. If not he died 300 Years before the MMO fighting the True Sith and could have sabotaged their efforts delaying the True Sith Invasion for a further 300 Years or perhaps he may have even died from natural causes. Its still up in the air at this point.
well just because the story is 300 years after kotor 1 it doesnt mean that Revan died from natural causes (some ones call it aging ^^) as a sith lord he may found the way to get a very long life without aging (there is a special dark technique for that) or he may tryed the way of Sidious ( the cloning part) who knows the dark force is a mighty ally.
He found back as his mind was manipulated so you never know what can happen ^^.

Im waiting for more news on classes. Im hopeing for the love of god that bioware learns from swg and balances the classes yes, that means jedi are a regular class. No revans a darksider or was, the events in KOTOR 1 made him go back to jedi order however he left later to go fight the the ''true'' sith empire

Actully offical Cannon makes her a lightsider since the starforge was destroyed and bastila was redeemed in cannon im not 100% on this but i think so.

Canon makes "him" a lightsider but Kotor 2 makes him a little different,... hes so much powerful man that he can hold teachings of jedi and sith together,... it cannot be desribe by one word jedi or sith, lightsider darksider,... He is simply Revan :)

In KOTOR 2 if you ask keria about revan and you have enough infuenlse she says that revan is a she EVEN if you say that its a male at start which has been comfirmed as true.

Revan is canonically Male. Wookiepedia will confirm that for you if necessary. The Dialogue with Atton on Peragus about Revan officially sets Revan's Gender and Force Alignment but the True Revan is still Male. I've never experienced that with Kreia and yes I have maxed out my Influence.

Its nonsence,... Kreia speaks about Revan as about gender which u chose,... after all authors had to determinate gender of revan and exile,... conclusion: Revan is canoncially male and Exile is canoncially female :)

@Skarisdt That's assuming that Revan was on the Dark Side which isn't Canon as of yet. Though I have also entertained the exact same thought and several similar ones. So the idea is for one to use a Dark Sided Power doesn't imply that one has to be on the Dark Side. ;)

one who may use dark side powers may not indeed be fully engulfed in the dark side...but the use of the force is rooted straight from ones own emotions. that is why the council strictly forbid use of the dark side.

Well, that and because use of the Dark Side is what ultimately caused the Great Schisms and the Hundred Year Darkness, pinning Master against Apprentice and testing the emotional limits of both sides in the process. ;)

The MMO is set 300 years after the KOTOR and TSL so nothing has been confirmed yet. Revan could be the True Sith Emperor for all we know. If not he died 300 Years before the MMO fighting the True Sith and could have sabotaged their efforts delaying the True Sith Invasion for a further 300 Years or perhaps he may have even died from natural causes. Its still up in the air at this point.

well just because the story is 300 years after kotor 1 it doesnt mean that Revan died from natural causes (some ones call it aging ^^) as a sith lord he may found the way to get a very long life without aging (there is a special dark technique for that) or he may tryed the way of Sidious ( the cloning part) who knows the dark force is a mighty ally.
He found back as his mind was manipulated so you never know what can happen ^^.

Im waiting for more news on classes. Im hopeing for the love of god that bioware learns from swg and balances the classes yes, that means jedi are a regular class. In one of the interviews released this week they mention pvp so unless they want to totally fail they cant go listening to the cry baby jedi and nerf the game just for them. It happened to swg.
