eu tava lá.....meu primeiro show internacional, e por causa dele, penso, já gastei muita grana em outros(melhores investimentos EVER)....mas sobre essa música, em específico, devo dizer: NUNCA reproduziram o final fantástico da versão estúdio.
Wow, this vid is something else! And just seeing Ed with ALL that hair!!! But, you know, he's just one of the FEW people on the planet that looks WAY cooler without the hair!!! Long hair is GREAT, but MAN can Ed ROCK his shaved head!!!
Long hair just doesn't suit Ed. I totally forgot he used to have it. What an amazing band. Each one of em' masters at their respective roles. Hopefully they'll get back together someday. I'd drive for hours to go to a reunion show.
Fui nesse show, foi Hollywood Rock. Nao me lbro o ano... talvez 1994.
Fiquei pto pq sempre gostei do Live.
I love LIVE and this is might be their best song, although with so many great songs its hard to know.
I feel like there are so few great new acts coming out. Since 1996 -- I think only Linkin Park makes the grade. And now we have crap like Lady Gaga and thats our new great muse.
Porque? Tinha 8 anos. Por esse e outros motivos (e bandas), mais uma vez me pergunto - porque não nasci nos anos 60? /O\
I was in this show, at Morumbi Stadium, São Paulo, Brasil. Very good to remember!! Ugly Kid Joe, Sepultura, Live and Robert Plant had performed that day. The extinct "Holywood Rock" festival.
I keep watching this over and over and over again.
Thank you, vodkaa1! This is probably the best video of Ed and the boys all feeling the same intensity level, and it really shows. Live has been a musical and even spiritual inspiration of mine over the years, and it's great to have such an inspiring and inspired performance as this to enjoy.
Thanks so much for posting these vids. It really takes me back! Pain Lies on the Riverside was the first song I ever heard from Live (back in 1993) and I fell in love from Gracey's first beat! It's great to see some of this old school stuff showing up on YouTube.
I'm sure this video is great, too bad it won't load. Youtube is sure turning into a pile of crap these days. Especially with lame trolls like "fireplug111" running around. Do you post the same asinine comments on every live video? Get a life, and keep your worthless observations about culture to yourself, kid.
This is pure garbage. The fact that this guy dedicated the album to Krishnamurti makes me want to throw up. How dare he?! The fact that he did means he doesn't understand anything. And this music bring banality up to the level of obscene!
How dare this utterly forgetable band and singer (who apparently has a musical vision it is define 'banality' as its own genre), dare dedicate anything to Krishnaurti! The act alone meanse he understands nothing. How about I wipe my ass with your name after taking a shit? Will you give me a record deal?
If this music had anything resembling taste, I wouldn't have been so upset...but...god this sucks! Keep your silly little observations on life to yourself.
Mental Jewelry is one of the top 10 best albums, they sort of "neutered" Pat's basslines from Throwing Copper onward, good stuff still on the whole...but never compared again to Mental Jewelry...just a SICK album from start to finish....great upload vodka!
Yeha. Mental Jewerly is definately the best album in my oppinion. Then again, it was the first Live album i ever heard! Courtesy of my Boyfriend. I have thanked him numerous times for introducing me to the greatness that is Live!!!
Fuck yeah they were!!! My Boyfriend has like, every CD they ever put out, Casete tape recordings, and everything!!! lol. Like, his whole fucking room is fuckin drowning in them!!! lol.
