  • Live is the best band ever in history of alternative rock

    Nunca.

    =(

  • I love dat bass.

  • this song is one of the smoothest grooving rock songs ever.

  • muito loco esse som, se for o show do morumbi; eu fui!!! hahahahahahahaah, teve sepultura e robert plant!!!!!! tempo bom!!!!!!

  • Wow, this vid is something else! And just seeing Ed with ALL that hair!!! But, you know, he's just one of the FEW people on the planet that looks WAY cooler without the hair!!! Long hair is GREAT, but MAN can Ed ROCK his shaved head!!!

    Truly amazing!!!

Thanks for the post!!! : )

  • I was there...Live on Brazil

  • @maulsoleu me too, man...I was 16 at the time. My first huge gig.

  • Long hair just doesn't suit Ed. I totally forgot he used to have it. What an amazing band. Each one of em' masters at their respective roles. Hopefully they'll get back together someday. I'd drive for hours to go to a reunion show.

  • rockstars

  • Pena que esse grupo acabou!!! Era muito bom!!!

  • What I love about this is Pat....what a funky boy, CG and he are a unit...love them!!

  • A melhor música deles!!! estive neste show em 94, muito bom, ótima época.

  • PENNSY ROCKS..

  • Fui nesse show, foi Hollywood Rock. Nao me lbro o ano... talvez 1994.

Fiquei pto pq sempre gostei do Live.

  • @pearriagada

  • 1:03-1:05 is Ed flippin the bird?

  • Sorry start a little earlier, like 1:00

  • Hair?? Ed??? Alot of madness goin on here, is this Sparta???!

  • I love LIVE and this is might be their best song, although with so many great songs its hard to know.

I feel like there are so few great new acts coming out. Since 1996 -- I think only Linkin Park makes the grade. And now we have crap like Lady Gaga and thats our new great muse.

    Yech.

  • Ed with long hair :D

  • greatest live band ever

  • no, thats MUSE, .............:D kidding...I love Muse, my nr 1 band, but seen Live several times, still amazing!!! peace!

  • Ed has so much personal magic and power that he literally makes me dizzy to watch him. Amazing music. Amazing group.

  • @EmpressOfWyoming58 It makes you dizzy? Christ you're stupid.

  • omg he had hair

  • Raw talent!!!

  • Early Stuff! Coolness...

  • Mental Jewelry and Throwing Copper were both incredible!

  • Patrick Dalhaimer is the KING of BASS!!!

Porque? Tinha 8 anos. /O\

  • WOW Ed, you've come a long way baby!

  • really?? i didn't know.. i just ment to say that they should of become as famous as other bands that in my opinion are worse than them..

  • OMG! Ed is a baby here! He just gets sexier as he gets older! Love this song, love this band, and LOVE ED!!!

  • such a great band! i wonder why they didn't get famous in europe..that's too bad..

  • Uh..Have you ever been to a LIVE concert in Europe? I would say they are pretty famous there ..

  • Wow! you sound super hotttt and tripple sexy speaking spanish! I'm melting right now for you...

  • He is not speaking Spanish... It's Portuguese... This show took place in Brazil (Morumbi Stadium). In fact, his pronunciation is pretty good!

  • ;-) Thanks :-)

  • They nailed this one!!! Awesome!!

  • Lol your right this would be a helluva guitar hero song I love this band

  • Great rhythm section. Gracey kicks ass.

  • This show was in Brazil, Hollywood Rock 1994.

  • I was there too.

It was my dream, watch Live´s concert.

    Thank Vodkaa for these vids.

  • musica boa nao envelhece

  • I was in this show, at Morumbi Stadium, São Paulo, Brasil. Very good to remember!! Ugly Kid Joe, Sepultura, Live and Robert Plant had performed that day. The extinct "Holywood Rock" festival.

  • esta musica es Pain Lies On The River Side

  • he became a better performer once he shaved his head lol

  • I keep watching this over and over and over again.

Thank you, vodkaa1! This is probably the best video of Ed and the boys all feeling the same intensity level, and it really shows. Live has been a musical and even spiritual inspiration of mine over the years, and it's great to have such an inspiring and inspired performance as this to enjoy.

  • Yeah, you´re right! They were felling this song!

E o Ed ainda usava cabelão!!! rs

Really this show was in Brazil, does not only know where city! And the Ed still used long hair!

  • what is the name of the song that goes like"angel closes her eyes'

  • that's "Lightning Crashes"

  • lightning crashes

  • Thanks so much for posting these vids. It really takes me back! Pain Lies on the Riverside was the first song I ever heard from Live (back in 1993) and I fell in love from Gracey's first beat! It's great to see some of this old school stuff showing up on YouTube.

  • I'm sure this video is great, too bad it won't load. Youtube is sure turning into a pile of crap these days. Especially with lame trolls like "fireplug111" running around. Do you post the same asinine comments on every live video? Get a life, and keep your worthless observations about culture to yourself, kid.

  • greatest band and most underrated band of all time

  • amazing

  • The bass player has got it goin on.

    Kicks ass.

  • Hell yeah, he's awesome, I don't know if you know this but he owns one of the biggest bass collections, over 200 Fender Basses.

  • Caralho mermao.....

    esse show foi no morumbi?

  • uh most of lives music has to do with eastern philosophy. Dont be so closed minded. This comment is dedicated to Krishnab =P

  • This is pure garbage. The fact that this guy dedicated the album to Krishnamurti makes me want to throw up. How dare he?! The fact that he did means he doesn't understand anything. And this music bring banality up to the level of obscene!

  • How dare this utterly forgetable band and singer (who apparently has a musical vision it is define 'banality' as its own genre), dare dedicate anything to Krishnaurti! The act alone meanse he understands nothing. How about I wipe my ass with your name after taking a shit? Will you give me a record deal?

If this music had anything resembling taste, I wouldn't have been so upset...but...god this sucks! Keep your silly little observations on life to yourself.

  • greatest band of all time

  • Mental Jewelry is one of the top 10 best albums, they sort of "neutered" Pat's basslines from Throwing Copper onward, good stuff still on the whole...but never compared again to Mental Jewelry...just a SICK album from start to finish....great upload vodka!

  • Yeha. Mental Jewerly is definately the best album in my oppinion. Then again, it was the first Live album i ever heard! Courtesy of my Boyfriend. I have thanked him numerous times for introducing me to the greatness that is Live!!!

  • Pat is an awesome bass player!!! These guys were destined to be big....

  • Fuck yeah they were!!! My Boyfriend has like, every CD they ever put out, Casete tape recordings, and everything!!! lol. Like, his whole fucking room is fuckin drowning in them!!! lol.

  • Thanks for posting vodkaa! You've got some real good ones

  • greatest band and live band of all time..no comparison

  • More wonderful stuff, it's thrilling to find all of this.
