Bass has great tone. What kind of bass?  what kind of strings? How are you miking it in the video?

Thanks very much. The bass is an Andreas Zeller with a carved belly. The Strings are Pirasto Jazzers (95% sure of that) but they are 6 years old. I'm using a Big twin pro pick up system from K & K and that is going into a MB150 from GK (for monitoring). The recording sound is obviously partly amp, but most of the signal is going into a Zoom H4 portable hard disk with built in condenser mics, about 50 cm from the belly.

Hi, I'm the bassist, I think Jakob is making choice use of the blues scale a lot of the time. He has thrown his back out so I don't know when we will play together again, but next time I see him I'll see if he has more to add.
